FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER...I'm NOT GOING HOME!! UPDATE DEC.30 PG 74

While I had been busy getting checked in mom and dad had been having some MB issues. We really hate this new technology and don't understand it or the benefits of it at all. This morning when they tried to get in to the park their tickets had disappeared off of their MBs! For our SWW Sunday we had bought a one day ticket and had 4 day park hoppers for the rest of our trip. Well for some reason even though we didn't use the MB to get in to the park on Sunday and used the hard ticket instead it still took two days off on our MBs. So they had to spend about 2 hours in line at guest services trying to get everything fixed but once everything was said and done they were pixie dusted and got to see these two




Yep they got to see Ana and Elsa with a very short wait!



and they also saw Sleeping Beauty



I really wonder what my dad said to her!




I met up with them after they were done with lunch and they had gone to BOG.






We went on a couple rides but tensions were high today with me leaving so we ended up back at our resort trying to relax. It's really tough saying goodbye and this day was rough one! Once we were all happy and back to normal we headed to our dinner reservation at Cape May!

We all love this restaurant and had an amazing waitress! She was such a sweet woman and at the end of the meal brought two of these to our table



One to congratulate me on my DCP and another for mom and dad for letting me go. It was a very sweet moment!

After Cape May it was time to head to the Magic Kingdom so we could get a couple of rides in. We went on POTC and HM and then headed out!




We were headed to DHS for EMH! When we got there we decided we were going to ride TSM as many times as we could before our arms fell off!






We went on twice then I saw on FB that Danielle (IHeartDDuck) and her mom were headed over for EMH so we waited to meet up with them. Let me just tell you Danielle has mad skills! She is the Queen of TSM! She is so amazing at it and I was able to be her partner for a ride and was just in awe We ended up going on it four times all together and it was a ton of fun! We were very happy we got to see them one last time! I can't wait to see them again in November!

It was then time for us to head back to the room for another early busy day!

congrats on getting a housing arrangement you are happy with. Looks like a nice place with a great location! Oh and I saw your welcome bags set up on the counter - hope your roommates like them!

I can see it being a tough day for parents and kids - not just because of the time factor but just because this is clearly such a big and possibly (probably?) life changing event

That was very nice of that waitress to bring the two desserts - sounds like she understand the emotions involved

I'm generally pro-technology but Disney needs to make it that it doesn't take 2 hours to fix issues when they arrive as that just east into peoples vacations

Hi! Just found your TR and was intrigued as I did the CP in 1996 (hence my disname). It is interesting reading about the differences from when I did the program. At that point they only had Vista Way to live in and you prayed for good roommates when you arrived (which I lucked out).

Congrats on your placement, how cool. I will have to look for you when we are there in June/July (21 days to go). I feel a dis meet coming.

Enjoy your time while you are there, I had a great time and still keep in touch with 4 of my 5 roommates.

Well after the hassle we weren't feeling the magic so I said to her dad, "Let's see if we can see Anna and Elsa. That would really turn my day around." So we walked up to their FP+ entrance and guess what? They didn't work. After all we'd been through I was about in tears and there just so happened to be a mgr there who took pity on us. He not only let us in but he also gave us coupons for free Coke/water and popcorn. He really brought back the magic for us!

Oh my! Sorry about the whole MB stuff. That stinks. At least you can use that experience to help your clients. Or at least I hope you can. What a nice CM for bringing the magic back.

I have some great roommates! We have gotten along really well and have had a lot of fun!

I'm DEFINITELY following! I'm also a communications major (though I'm only going into my junior year) and I am highly considering applying for the Disney College Program at some point, so reading your trip report might just push me over the edge! I have a friend who did it and still raves about it to this day, and has made lifelong friends from it.

So, I can't wait to read about your own journey! Sounds like it's going to be a great one!

I am SO excited about this TR! I love the college program -- it's so much fun! Have the time of your life! This is going to be so much fun to follow along with everything!
