Rachel comes home in about 1.5 hours!

I'm happy she is coming back but I must admit, it was nice to have the extra free time when Elie napped...

I made a big "Welcome home Rachel from Dad, Elie and Mom" drawing on the driveway with chalk...I even drew pictures of all of us and our 2 cats! Now just hoping it doesn't rain before they get here.

Oh, how cute is that? I hope that it doesn't rain.

I guess they want to show they do not condeon that kind of behavior and I am glad

I could not believe the mom said...she knew what she did and did it all the time

She did not see the harm in it :scared1:

I've often thought people should have to pass tests before they could be parents. That is so sad, to think of what could have happened.

I finally saw it and yeah, I'm glad Disney kicked 'em out. Such a shame that the state of Michigan even let those people be foster parents!! And that she is a school COUNSELER...are you kidding me?

UJ.....these morons are from Michigan

U need to go get them and tear them a new one :headache:

Um. Wow. I am speechless. What is wrong with some people? Thank God mousekeeping found them before something really tragic happened! (Like that poor little Madeline that went missing from her hotel room while her parents went out to dinner!)

wow, I have an ad above this thread that says I can make electricity simple and cheap at home...well sign me up! :lmao:

I already know how to do that! First you put on some socks and then you shuffle across the carpet. Touch something ~ like your DH! Voila! Electricity! ;)

Something tells me she won't have that job for long. Good Lord, I hope not anyway! :sad2:

I agree Chele. That would be a great idea :thumbsup2

One of the thing that makes this so sad is there is a reason why these children were put in the foster system to begin with. Those poor little babies.

Unbelievable! Its hard to fathom people thinking that is okay and she being a counselor. What in the world do the kids turn out like that she counsels. I think all she was interested in was the money she gets for taking care of the Foster children because she obviously isn't interested in the children themselves.

Wow. :sad2: And she is supposed to be a school counselor?!?

I like the part where Disney writes them a letter and tells them they aren't welcome on the property. I didn't know Disney did that sort of thing.

That's great that Disney asked them to leave. They don't condone leaving little children unattended and don't want the liability either of those children getting lost, hurt or worse on their property. Go Disney!:thumbsup2

That is so true Michele, they obviously came from a dysfunctional home to start with and look what kind of people they end up with. That's really sad.:sad2:

Not to sound too negative and paranoid, but you are very correct! Unfortunately we always need to be aware of our surroundings, who is watching us, etc...it's way too easy for me to forget this ... esp as I'm getting the SUV loaded up with baby and DD4, hands full, etc.

I like to think Disney is immune but of course it is not.

There was another Disney group (All Ears -DVCTalk) discussing this same topic and saying that Disney is actually a perfect place to commit crimes -- most folks think Disney is safe ... they leave their strollers and souvenirs out in public and walk away from them for like 30-60+ minutes...let their kids go off on their own in the parks, etc.

It just reminds us to be aware -- not everyone has good intentions.

I never trust anyone, even in Disney. When we get out of our ECV's, we take everything with us on the ride. I don't care how cumbersome it is, I drag it all with me.

When we were there with Kelly, I had a death grip on Trent's hand whenever I was the one who was walking with him. I never let him out of my reach. I guess I am a skeptic but I think that no matter where we are there could be some weirdo or criminal!

Sad to have to live that way but these days we have to for our own survival. :sad2:

:rotfl: As an adult, I enjoy Spongebob (but can see how it could affect kids' attitudes negatively like y'all were discussing)

this was so funny!!

welcome back! ooh sounds like a relaxing time by yourself.

that's some good winnings! Sounds like you must have come out ahead so congrats!

I am truly enjoying my quiet time and relaxing evenings and I am so stress free!

I did come out ahead at the end of the weekend at the casino, I guess I came home with about $80 to $100! So I bought myself two dresses on clearance!:yay:

I'm in a sea of cardboard!!! The packers are making big progress. It's so strange to walk through the house with cardboard boxes stacked to the ceiling. They will finish the packing tomorrow, including the computer... so it's adios from me until sometime next week probably. See y'all when I see y'all!!! :goodvibes
