Yes I have seen that preview when browsing IMDB's web site. It looks AWESOME!! Love Jr. for sure. He's so dreamy! :lovestruc

I think Jude Law is pretty hot too.

Oh, you saw the new HP? How does this compare to the others? I really enjoyed them all so far.

It was good, I will probably buy it when it comes out on dvd. I loved the books. I found myself feeling sorry for Malfoy.

My mom just called. They are all having so much fun that they are staying another day. Well, good for them.

I still haven't talked to Rachel yet...she doesn't want to talk to DH or I on the phone...too busy having fun!

I'm happy for Rachel (and quite jealous!!);):lmao:

Yay for Rachel, I am glad that she is having such a wonderful time.

Just a quick post as we know you are all waiting to hear about Trent. Kelly and Steve took Trent for his ultra sound today and he did well, cooperated and was a good little boy. He was able to have both the ultra sound of his tummy as well as his kidney as he slept late and didn't eat, so they didn't have to reschedule the 2nd test! :cool1::cool1:

Earlier in the day the lab told Steve they messed up the appts and they couldn't see Trent until next week. Well Steve went off on them and somehow they managed to fit him in at an office that is further from them and the clerk was a smart mouth and said well it's going to be further than here! And Steve said good because I don't live down there and it's actually closer to us! :rotfl2:

Anyway Steve couldn't sweet talk the results out of anyone but they did give them to the doctor to read before they left with Trent being a child. So our "hope" is that if it was something serious they'd have told them to call the Dr. right away or go to the emergency room or something. But they didn't, so hopefully everyone's prayers did the trick. They should find out tomorrow what the actual results are!

Keep the prayers going tonight that the results are good!

Thank you all for your concern and prayers for Trent!:grouphug:

Thanks for the update Karen. Yay for Steve. That's the way to handle them. I will keep praying.

I already talked to Kelly but thanks for the update. I'm so glad they were able to do both tests and the Dr. read the results right away. I hope that tomorrow Trent's Dr. will call them with the prognosis so they know how to proceed. Saying prayers that it is nothing serious.

He's trying to stay strong but the more he processes things the harder it gets for him. I asked him last night when his Grandmother is going to be moving in with his Aunt and he said probably w/in the next couple of weeks and then he was talking about getting certain ppl to help and then he said "we'll just move her master bedroom for now and deal with the rest when the time comes. God that's going to suck!" Then he got really sad....it hit him hard at that moment I think.

He's also struggling with the fact that he saved her life a couple of weeks ago which is what in turn what brought on all of this testing for his Grandmother to find out what was wrong with her. He stopped by her house to check on her and she wasn't answering the door but her car was in the drive way. So just as he was about to break the door down she came to her window and said to him "I can't get any air". She wears an oxygen tank 24/7. So he called his parents because he was on duty at the time and couldn't stay to help her so they took her to the dr and found out that she was only getting a little oxygen in her lungs at the time. I mean she was to the point of brain damage and she would have died if Chris hadn't of gone to check on her when he did. So now he txtd me this morning saying that he wishes he woulnd't have checked on her because then she could have just gone in her sleep and she wouldn't have had to know about or live with this cancer in her anymore and suffer with it. I tried to tell him not to blame himself for anything because that doesn't do anyone any good. And I tried to tell him that God has a plan and she is still here for a reason. We don't know what it is right now and we may never know until we get to heaven ourselves but we have to try and take comfort in that thought. He said he knows and he understands that but it's something that he's still struggeling with. I feel so awful for him. I wish I had more wisdom to help him. I think his struggles with this are only going to get harder and worse. This all just totally sucks.

Sorry for the book in response. I bet you're sorry you asked now.

I've seen that movie. I guess I'm heartless since I didn't cry one bit during that movie.

oh man now Seven Pounds is one I still haven't seen either. I hate sad movies. Just like this "My Sister's Keeper".....I refuse to see it.

Oh wow Carla

I did not know that

I am glad you were able to help him understand not his fault and to try and not to dwell on that. It will just make him feel worst and not help anything

morning! haha yeah today is pretty much TGIF for me.

and it looks like no swimming tonight. Christina (my cousin/bff) has to study after work with a group of people from school and doesn't know how long she'll be. And Mike works tonight. Boooo

we'll probably watch a movie when he gets home. We rented 2 last night and watched Push last night. That was a good movie. Tonight we'll see Slumdog Millionaire...I've heard a lot of good things about it so hopefully we'll enjoy it.

Bummer on the no swimming

Never seen either of those movies either

I would like to try slumdog and see how that is

What is push about?
my brain is so not here right now. LOL

Thanks Chele. I appreciate it :goodvibes

Thanks for the prayers girl :goodvibes

Why is it, that whenever I'm on here.....no one else is? :confused3:sad2:

Sorry girl

after the test..Trent was so hungry....we took him to his place of choice, which was Friendlys

Then we hit Wal mart

Got Trent some a star wars toy and a pair of thomas the tank engine sneakers :goodvibes

Only one parent was allowed back in the room and Trent chose Steve

He is such a Daddy's boy pirate:

Steve said he was hilarious

He talked the tech ear off and told her every single toy he had

Then when he found out they took like 100 pics of his belly...He goes....OMG real serious :rotfl2:

Sharky,
I hope everything is all right with the little fella.....It will work out fine!!

Hi everybody...sorry I have been MIA. Trying to get back in the swing of things.

Sharky - I see Trent has been sick? He is in my prayers

Sorry for the book in response. I bet you're sorry you asked now.

Don't apologize! I am still glad I asked! I think what you said to Chris is perfect... that you may not know why now but she is still here for a reason. If she had gone then no one would have been able to say goodbye, for instance. Maybe she has some wisdom to share before she goes. You just never know. He is just working through the shock of it all. He is lucky to have you Carla! :goodvibes

Why is it, that whenever I'm on here.....no one else is? :confused3:sad2:

I'm feeling like that lately too! :confused3 Where you peeps at?!?!

I'll whisper in his ear....he wont eat anything again!!!!! Taser Taser !!!

Bring it! I am all for it!

Glad that Trent did okay today, Sharky!

I've seen that movie. I guess I'm heartless since I didn't cry one bit during that movie.

First, you are doing the right thing by Chris. It obviously isn't your grandmother's time yet and him saving her was a good thing...at least this way she gets to say her goodbyes to everyone and vice versa. Closure is always good.

Re: the Ben Button movie -- really?? you didn't cry at all? Even the last like 10-15 minutes??

Oh, I was totally like you -- watched Beaches and didn't even cry ... but the past 4 years ... my pendulum has completely swung the other way...I'm crying at a commercial that shows babies growing up to become kids then teens, etc. That's what gets me the worst.

Another crybaby movie for me -- Mama Mia!! Yes, I'm such a wuss now. But when Donna (the mom) sang the song about how her little girl used to go off to school and now she's getting married...I just cried buckets.

Thanks girl

I want some Friendlys too!! And can I have a toy?? I would like a cabbage patch doll please :goodvibes

bummer that you couldn't go back there too but that's good that he got his choice as to who got to go with him. It sounds like he was a very brave boy :goodvibes

That's okay Orangie. Hope everything is okay with you.

thanks Marsha. You're right. Closure is for sure good.

Really, not even. LOL. I'm a weirdo. I'm sure once I have children things like that will get to me but until then it doesn't phase me. Especially since we've been trying to have our first baby for so long. I'm just so numb to it all.

Oh yeah that was a cute movie too. But still no tears for me
