Nope, another week here in NC. But we got a house down there!!! We won't get it for a few more weeks though, maybe even a month. SO... we are all cramming into a 2 bedroom apt. temporarily! Good times!

I know!!! The kids are fighting over who gets the bedroom. I'm leaning toward letting Abby have it even though it has a queen bed and the boys say that's a waste of bed since she is just one person! I just think that she is an almost 13 yo girl and she really needs her own space. What do you all think?

Anyway~ I hate to leave with you all here but I'm going to bed. I didn't sleep well last night - was up from 1 until 4, wide awake! I had a nightmare... just a half hour after I went to sleep. Isn't that weird? I finally just turned the tv on. Not much to watch in the middle night, unfortunately.

So I just finished a glass of wine and I'm going to go read for awhile and hopefully that will lead to a good night's sleep.

If she had gone then no one would have been able to say goodbye, for instance. Maybe she has some wisdom to share before she goes. You just never know. He is just working through the shock of it all. The boys can camp out on couch or on floor. They can make a tents and pretend like they are camping.....

I actually have plans tonight. And they've grown instead of depleted so I'm shocked. I did have plans for all weekend but it looks as though my plans for tomorrow are nixed. Oh well. That just means that I don't have to clean my house

Kelly sent me this email this morning to ease my mind and asked me to post it for everyone as you've all been so supportive and concerned about Trent. Thanks to everyone for your good wishes and prayers.

Hi girls
The pediatrician called me and told me his ultrasound was normal. His kidneys and stomach look normal.
She asked me if I still saw blood in his urine.
I never saw it to begin with, but last week when I cleaned up spill on toilet seat (TMI), it was dark colored.
But these past few days any spills he had, have been clear
He is no longer going every 2 hrs...His stretches are back to normal, like 5-6 hours
he is not making face anymore when he pees or saying it is hot
I told her everything he had been doing was gone.
So she told me they want me to bring in a urine sample on Monday just to make sure blood is gone.
Fingers crossed that whatever it was is gone....

know, I know, late as usual, but I vote for Abby! A girl at that age needs privacy.

Is this a hotel suite you are talking about or where the company rented you a place until you get the house?

Either way Abby has my vote.

All boys like to rough it, they can be out in the living room with the TV, snacks, act like they are camping, give them cool camping stuff to pretend with and they should be excited. Maybe make them some smores or roast some marshmallows over your stove top (you, not them) and make some popcorn and they'll be cool.

First, you are doing the right thing by Chris. It obviously isn't your grandmother's time yet and him saving her was a good thing...at least this way she gets to say her goodbyes to everyone and vice versa. Closure is always good.

Re: the Ben Button movie -- really?? you didn't cry at all? Even the last like 10-15 minutes??

Oh, I was totally like you -- watched Beaches and didn't even cry ... but the past 4 years ... my pendulum has completely swung the other way...I'm crying at a commercial that shows babies growing up to become kids then teens, etc. That's what gets me the worst.

Another crybaby movie for me -- Mama Mia!! Yes, I'm such a wuss now. But when Donna (the mom) sang the song about how her little girl used to go off to school and now she's getting married...I just cried buckets.

I am the biggest cry baby of all. I cry at Hallmark commercials, all kinds of stuff, movies get me though, I cry a lot on lifetime movies and always on Steel Magnolias, Terms of Endearment, the Titanic, Beaches, need I go on? LOL

I haven't seen Benjamin Buttons though, I need to get that while Bryan is away and watch it in peace!
