Very Frustrating! I got through at exactly 7AM, but was on hold for 30 minutes...Yikes! I did not get either Le Cellier I wanted, or the Tuttu Italia, or Taste of Italy. Since they aren't doing Wait List this year, I guess I will keep calling back every few days, just in case someone needs to cancel (and is able to).
On a positive note I did get
11-11 Coral Reef
10-12 South African Wine Event
10-17 Regional Feast - Peru
10-18 Seas Salon
Also 3 Party for the Senses

So, I really can't complain.

We're just doing PFTS on 10/20 and 10/27. With the typical Disney annual price increases we're finding it difficult to find value in any of the F&W events anymore. I'm sure the PFTS will probably be $150 next year and then we'll cut it down to one.

I am sad

This is the first year in a long time I am not doing anything. The days I am scheduled to be there there is nothing I wanted to do. And the Saturday I will be there is the Tower of Terror race so no PFTS this year.....

Congrats to everyone getting their ressies done this morning! We decided to not make any ressies for the events. We decided that with Gabby's newly diagnosed seafood allergies, the cancellation policies, and the prices, that we would just enjoy all the rest of the F&W Fest and skip the rest. I don't think that we are going to feel deprived, although I will admit that if Gabby wasn't such a picky eater and didn't have food allergies, I would be signed up right now for at least 3 events. But, there is plenty to do at Epcot on a normal day, but with the F&W Fest, we have close to three days to play there. It should be fun! Maggie

Didn't book any of the PFtS because they rarely sell out - and if they do - it's not until closer to the date(s). Plus - We went to 3 of these last year (we've gone to them each year for many years) - and we are starting to think that the event has become overpriced - what with the huge numbers of people they are crowding in the hall (at one event last year - the celebrity chef had a half-hour wait for his dish (around the room) - I do not pay $135 to stand in long lines....

Each year it gets worse. They need to only allow the best CM's to book the Food & Wine events & not switch it over to the regular dining people, they are totally out of the loop and have no idea about any of the F&W events.

I just called- I know, I know, what the heck kind of Diser and I?!?!- but I was able to get the only event I wanted. I got the Food & Wine pairing at the Living Seas, Seas Salon on 10/17!! I have only ever done the PFTS in the past, but I wanted something a little less expensive this time.I actually hadn't even planned on doing this event, but my mom and I were already planning eating at the Living Seas that day, so I canceled that and booked the pairing! Ah, I can't wait- hope to see some of you there.

Oh, has anyone who has done this one before remember what kind of foods they had? I am guessing/hoping for mostly seafood!

This is the first year they have done Parings in the Seas Salon. We did Coral Reef last year and there was no seafood in any of our 3 samples. I had hoped for some too

I really wanted to do the Brewers Dinner on 11/8 but had not heard any feedback on it. I know it always sells out fast. I figure I will buy AP's for DH and I to Universal/IOA for 2 years (buy one year get one free) with the money I saved-lol. That way we can watch Harry Potter- ville being built! We are also doing the Blue Zoo Signature Disnner on 11/9. Looking forward to seeing Todd English.

Not sure if there is an age restriction, but it would be a bit of a waste to have to pay for him. Though DH would more than eat DS' share!! Plus I know if DS saw Diser MAGICinMYHEART there, he would probably dump us for her!! Very, very, very nice lady.

I shall be sat sulking instead at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show over at the Poly....Hope you all have a great time. Lots of reports and photos please! Maybe next year.

There is always a kids club, DD is going to suffer over at the Neverland club. She begs to go there every year, we suck it up and let her go!
