Sure but A) it doesn’t make it right , and B) if the parent company is now employing the same tactics it’s not saying much for their solvency IMO.Well before the pandemic Swoop was notorious for cancelling flights right-and-left. We never booked with them for anything but an office friend had her AI package to Mazatlan shifted by two days throwing her entire plan into chaos.
I didn't for a second imply I thought it was right. I've taken my lumps from Westjet like everybody else on the thread. I've never really been a big Westjet person. We don't fly much domestically and when we go abroad one of the international carriers usually has better prices. I got stuck with thousands in Westjet credits due to a huge planned trip that was a Covid casualty. I'd much rather not be dealing with any of this.
Have people been having the same type of experience with Air Canada? I haven't heard of it.
