"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

:sad2: That's no good... We got some snow last week too... it's just no fun!

No the snow in spring is not fun.

Poor Aunt Pat -- getting reprimanded at Disney. We were reprimanded at Splash Mountain in October when we couldn't decide who was going to ride in the front of the log and the CM finally said, "Get in!"
:lmao:

I didn't realize they had cream cheese-filled pretzels -- those sound good!
:thumbsup2

I have a question--do they only have the French toast loaf in the morning at the Main St. Bakery? I'm thinking so, but thought you might have noticed it at night. It would be good to have in the room already for breakfast the next morning, wouldn't it?

I didn't notice. I always feel so overwhelmed in places like Main Street Bakery and like I have to hurry, so I don't notice as much as I should.

Wooohooo, I'm in! A PTR/TR by someone who took the same flight we'll be taking, used the Masterpark at SeaTac like we'll being doing (those first two are BIG pluses for me, as we've never flown out of SeaTac before!), has sons, went with family, etc. Our boys will be 9yo and 6yo when we go in October and we have a Grand Gathering group (16 family members so far :scared1:) lol

I've read the chapters so far (those links on your first page are AWESOME!) and you're a great writer :cheer2:

Looking forward to more popcorn::

Thank you! Glad you joined. :goodvibes

We've never done EMH either... morning or evening. We tend to go to parks that DON'T have EMH. :thumbsup2

We avoided EMHs for the most part, but the few we did worked out great for us. Since it was spring break it was almost impossible to avoid EMHs at Magic Kingdom.

I would call it mojo.....:thumbsup2

Just FedEx some to me..thanks...bill me later....;)
:rotfl:

Look what I woke up to this morning.

It is April 21st right?:confused3

I was going to say you must live in my town - then I saw you're in Washington - So. Oregon here - but this kind of not-spring happens almost every year here.

"Will you get your head out of the clouds and back in the water where it belongs!"-The Little Mermaid

Monday March 10th was a sleep in day for us and after being at Magic Kingdom's EMH the night before we needed it. I woke up at 8:30am and patiently waited a whole extra hour before waking everyone else up at 9:30am. Sleeping in was good but I still wanted to get to Typhoon Lagoon as close to opening as possible.

We had the pastries from Royal Anandapur Tea Company and Main Street Bakery and fruit for breakfast. Then everyone got ready for our day at the water park.

Daisy put on a hot pink and white pirate skull print two piece, and a white with hot pink pirate skulls hoodie, and white mini skirt with pink sequins on it. Both boys wore white rash guard shirts with hawaiian print board shorts. Joey's shorts were navy and white, and Adam's were navy and hot pink.

The adults all wore swim wear as well, but we weren't as cute as the children.

We were out at the bus stop at 10:28am.

The kids were rather restless and starting to pick at each other, so Aunt Pat had them line up and have a who can walk the slowest contest.

The bus came and we were walking into Typhoon Lagoon just before 11am.

Since we had brought towels from the pool area at CSR we just needed to rent a locker. Which we did and after stashing our stuff, including the camera, we headed deeper into the park. Typhoon Lagoon was practically deserted. We almost felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Not quite but there were very few people, so there were no lines for anything all day.

We looked at the area for swimming with the sharks, but the sign said the water was cold and it was not terribly warm out so we opted to skip it. After finding some chairs to set our towels on we decided to try out the Lazy River, as in "Look at all the lazy people in the lazy river."

The water was a little chilly but we all grabbed and inner tube and went for it. Almost immediately we all got separated. The boys sped off ahead, while Aunt Pat lagged behind. Daisy and I tried to keep up with the boys, but eventually we got separated as well. David tried to hang back with Aunt Pat but that didn't really work out either.

The Lazy River was a bit of a bust for me. Attempting to hoist myself into a flattering, yet comfortable floating down the river position on an inner tube made me feel much less than graceful, to say the least. Plus I didn't really like floating around all by myself. I think if you could float along the Lazy River in one of those big family rafts that would be more fun.

I was glad to see the kids waiting at the exit steps after one full loop, and we hung out right there until David and Aunt Pat caught up with us again. Once we were all gathered together we decided it was time for some water slides.

Humongous is one of my favorite words. :rolleyes1

TL rules.

Lazy river sux.

Locker rental sux too. I wish you could just toss your stuff on a lounge chair and trust that it would be save.

I've only done TL and loved it. I want to do BB next time. They are great fun and after 15 WDW visits, the last time was the first we'd done this.
