"Right now, poised at the edge of the galaxy, Emperor Zurg has been secretly building a weapon with the destructive capacity to annihilate an entire planet! I alone have information that reveals this weapon's only weakness. And you, my friend, are responsible for delaying my rendezvous with Star Command!" -Toy Story
After everyone else got off of Indy Speedway I suggested going on Buzz Lightyear.
The kids took off right away through the empty pathways of Tomorrowland and they got rather far ahead of us as they raced through the queu. So Aunt Pat, David, and I were hurrying to try to catch up. By the time we got to the cars the kids were out of sight. Aunt Pat was in front of David and I and she stepped on the moving walkway and headed for a car. We got into a car together and then watched as Aunt Pat kept trying to catch up to the one car that was just ahead of her.
The CM was trying to tell her to just get in the next car back, but Aunt Pat was fixated on the one car, remember in her mind she's still trying to catch up to the kids, so she wasn't listening to the CM at all. Aunt Pat had almost reached the end of the moving walkway and the car was closing up when the CM, looking annoyed, had to actually put out her arm and physically stop Aunt Pat and tell her to get in the next car.
This all happened very quickly, and all David and I could do was watch. I had visions of Buzz Lightyear having to make an emergency stop because Aunt Pat was determined to get in that car.
Once the ride started we noticed right away the big difference between the Disney World and
Disneyland Buzz is the gun. In Disneyland the gun is slimmer and you can pick it up and move it around, which makes aiming much easier. Also once again Disney World's version seemed shorter.
The kids were waiting at the end and after comparing scores we discovered none of us had done very well. I think Daisy had the highest score out of all 6 of us.
We stayed in Tomorrowland and got some snacks, frozen coke, cream cheese filled pretzel, chips, and soda.
We sat at the tables outside and rested. The kids still had some energy so we let them go on Buzz by themselves. When they came back to the table we sent them off to ride Indy Speedway one more time.
Once they returned to us again it was time to start our walk out of the park.
We stopped at Main Street Bakery to pick out some pastries for in the morning.
Here was where we hit our only line of the night, but it wasn't bad. Adam and David left to locate yet another bathroom. We ordered our goodies and picked out some fruit and at his insistence I let Joey go pay for it by himself at the cash register. David and Adam got back just as Joey was finishing up.
As we neared the bus stop we saw our bus was there and we hoped it wouldn't pull away without us. It didn't and we made it on. Sitting on the bus at the end of our second day in Disney World we were rehashing all that we had done since getting up that morning and after reviewing where we had been including Tusker House and Tony's Town Square, Joey said "I loved today. Especially the food!"
