Well I just got back from a 3 hour trip to the pediatrician's office. UGH!

Baby's appointment was routine. He's 12lbs 9ozs now. Almost 11 weeks old.

Ethan has been fighting a cold for over 2 weeks now, so I called this morning to see if the doc can see him too (didn't want to be one of those moms). Well, tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber must be working today. Plus the doc came into work late so everyone's appointment was pushed back. Then it's resident shadowing day. The resident was great but took way too long, but I get that she is learning so I'm patient. Then she goes off to find the doc who gives the same exam again to the boys. By now they are ready to leave. The baby is screaming and Ethan is jumping off the chairs. I finally get the baby to settle so she can listen to his chest but she won't stop talking about the vaccines. I interrupt her to ask if she wants to listen before he starts crying again and she goes on and on. Well she missed her window of opportunity. Then she starts going on about how I should be doing this and that. LADY, COME ON! This isn't my first dog and pony show.

I could go on and on, but I won't bore you.

Well between we were just there two weeks ago, she in Indy this week for a convention and we leave for a 2 week road trip on the 18th I actually think she would prefer to stay home. We are in discussions still
