I don't know....this will be my first cruise....it's just a concern of mine as well.
I have to take Dramamine before getting on planes. (and can't ride in the back seat of the car)...so thanks, Mindy for your info.![]()

I used to take Dramamine, but it makes me so sleepy. I always bring it with, but now I take ginger capsules. I start about 3-4 days before we go on the cruise and continue at least one - two days after the start. Haven't gotten sick since (and yes, I've been seasick before). I also bring ginger candies (make sure they are made with real ginger, not artificially flavored) and if I'm in a taxi in some foreign land where they are driving insanely, I take a candy quick and the queasiness goes away.
Oh, and most gingerale is not made with real ginger. So be careful with this one.
