Posted this on another forum and got no respond. Thought maybe I put it in the wrong place...:confused3 Looking for advice - we are a group of 11 (7 adults, 1 child & 3 free little ones). How does everyone handle making reservations and paying for Lightning Lanes? Does just one person make them and everyone pays that one person or do you have multiple people
make them? Can everyone pay for their own? We ARE linked on Family and Friends. Looking to see what will be the best way. We head that way in February!! Thank you for any advice!!

If you are all always wanting to do the same ones, it is probably easiest to have one person book for everybody. That would be one transaction and one payment. That said, others could manage their own and just try to book an overlapping window that works for your times. For harder to get-rides though that might get difficult if there isn't enough availability. If it's a less buys time, it might not be so tough. Do make sure that each individual booker makes their selections for the right user profiles - you have to select each individual each time, so it could be easy to make a mistake.

The only advice I'd throw out there is if you want to be sure to have most/all of your group riding at or around the same time, it might be best to have one person make the purchase and scheduling. That way you'll all be booked together at a time window of your choosing. After the LLs are booked and paid for, anyone in the F&F group should be able to go into MDE and see (and potentially modify) their own time, if that is something important. But it really depends on the trust factor in your group and confidence in getting your money back if you're the one buying!! For me, if you have someone in the group familiar with the process of buying and booking, I'd ask them to get up for the 7AM window when it opens for your reservations. Or if a couple of you are familiar and you have multiple days you're buying LLs, perhaps have one book one day and another person book another day - then you'll still need to level up on costs later since pricing will likely be different between days and parks. But having 3 or 4 of you trying to book separately on the same day and coordinate the LL arrival times would be a potential mess, in my opinion.

Lightning lane pricing is available ahead of time, and it's not yet dynamic. So it should be able to calculate the prices ahead of time and have people send you the money.

Thank you, everyone for your input. It definitely gives us something to go on! Have a great day!! :flower1:

After just returning from the parks and using Standby Skipper, I would highly recommend using it. It's only $45 for the entire length of stay for the entire party and will make the experience easier and smoother. I found it to be a treat - just put in your desired LL selections, and the Skipper will both them automatically after you have used your first LL of the day, and it will continuously do that for your group throughout the day.
