Well we just got our first beo for the wedding, it includes lots of things the wedding planner knows that I dont want, including pre reception, confetti cannons etc, but theres no prices so how am I meant to work with this?

I am just so confused, so I havnt got any prices for anything.

Plus I am thinking theres way too much food listed for 26 guests, I know you have to meet a certain price, but seriously it could feed an army, especially when theres only 26 of us and seven of those are children!

I am also confused about booking a meal for my guests the night before the wedding, for the whole 26 of us, we are wanting to go to 1900 park fayre, how far in advance can we do this and how?

Plus its time to start booking rooms and my wedding page isnt right, it even lists the wrong year, and the wrong hotels, what can I do

sorry I am just so stressed working all this out
and to top it off we are in the middle of moving house

For my wedding, I remember the BEO came at the same time but as a separate document as the itemized budget. The BEO was kind of like the "script" for the wedding, the document that all the vendors involved looked to to find their respective responsibilities, etc. I remember my coordinator telling me to make sure everything on the BEO was what I wanted, because "if it wasn't on the BEO, it won't be in your wedding" (or something to that effect). It seems like your BEO has a lot of mistakes on it, definitately let your coordinator know about each of them! But don't worry, they are very good about fixing mistakes as long as you let them know aout them. I'm sure everything will be fixed up soon enough for you :)

While it is true the "budget" is more of an itemized receipt so to speak my BEO clearly has prices on it. I received both documents together fyi. I would call your wedding planner asap and ask what is up. There is no way you can make educated decsions about cuts without it.

Anna i know what you mean about food!! WE had sooo much food to start with!

I emailed my planner and asked her to schedule a conference call for me and arranged for her to ring me so we could go through all the details i wasnt happy with! We spent about an hour going through exactly what i wanted - what i didnt want etc. It really helped!
