Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been around more. The DIS boards seem so slow at times lately. :badpc: (Or maybe it's my computer? :confused3 )

Melanie and s&k's mom ~ I am sending some prayers, :wizard: , and :grouphug: your way. I am so sorry to hear about your DH's jobs. I know this must be a tough time for you both and I just want you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

Today was Super Cardio Sculpt with Nancy. I was going to try and fit Tae Bo in too, but eBay got in the way. (They had their .10 cent auction listing sale today. Need money for Disney. ;) )

Morning, got in Taebo energy today, so a real hard workout but at least it got me moving. Tomorrow definately something tough, DH has got the weekend off so we usually are very baaaaaaaaad with eating. No news on his job but his has finally realized he's gotta try and get something else and we all know that could take a while. He's such a sweet guy I hate to see him think he's failing his family. He's not he's an awesome dad and husband. Love, love, love him. Almost as much as remote control for the tv.! :goodvibes

I was scheduled to do SCSc and Core Max but ended up doing Cathe's Low Max instead. I figured I'd better hop on the intensity wagon whilst I'm in the mood--I seem to enjoy it less and less these days. This bod's gettin' old! :headache: :teeth:

I took a rest day today. Feels good. I think I'm gonna kick in a Cathe workout tomorrow!
 

Today got in BSS3 tape with Jen Carmen, I miss that she's not doing firm tapes any more. Love her abs!!

Nothing this am guys, DS was rather restless so I'm dissing at the moment and doing some housecleaning as I have my first daycare interview today! I'll let you know how it goes.
 
Hi FIRMies!

Yesterday was Body Sculpt from BSS1 w/ Jen. I used my 15 pound weights for all of the lower body section and I feel it today! :earseek:

Today will be a weightlifting workout and Upper Body Sculpt with Janet Brooks. I got this at the library yesterday and can't wait to try it! :Pinkbounc

Hi my FIRMie friends,

Wednesday I did Total Muscle Shaping with Stephanie and walked 2 miles in the park during lunch. Yesterday was my rest day. I'm planning to either do the TM or a cardio tape tonight. I'm thinking about trying one of my new 30 minute ones from BSS3. Maybe Advance Cardio Blast.

Tomorrow I'm going to have a nice heavy lifting day. I"ve been using my 15lbs as much as I can, although there are lots of times after I get going I have to surrender and go back to 12's. I can really feel my Triceps coming out from hiding. I'm also up to 16 push ups on my toes.......woo hoo! I try to add one each time. I may have to stay around 14-16 for a while and work on it. 14-16 was super tough the other day!

Good morning, Taebo cardio this am. Pretty good workout got a sweat going. Not sure what the agenda is for tomorrow. Did pretty well with my eating last night at the special olympics party but did dance alot so I figure I burned up that piece of cake.

Jiggle free arms and abs for me this morning. Wasn't feeling as strong this morning so besides chest work, I did everything else with 12's until she called for light weights.

I took the last two days off as I was having a small ankle issue, but it feels much better today. This morning I did Pam's SCSc and Cathe's IMAX3 step-only premix (I just cannot bring myself to do the blasts from this workout--they are just too hard on my knees :headache: )! My hamstrings are already feeling it, I believe from the dips and curtsies off the TransFIRMer. And hey, Pam did low-ends! Who does she think she is--Cathe?!!! :teeth: Well, no, if she were Cathe, I'd *still* be doing those low-ends! :banana:

I did Jiggle Free Buns & Jiggle Free Arms plus a 25 minute Core Secrets workout. My arms are fried from using the 15lbs'ers!!

Today I did Aerobic Body Shaping. The pec flys with 20 lbs. actually seemed easy today. That must mean I'm getting stronger. :banana:

Kim, what are low-ends? I haven't heard that term before.

Low ends are where you pulse up and down with a movement for a series of counts. Like with squats where she would say stay down and pulse. Cathe uses them all the time in her workouts.

kim, I know what you mean about hamstrings. I did one of Cathe's workouts the other day and my hamstrings still hurt. That was on Thursday. Boy she's tough!
 
Hi darlings, Calorie Killer this am. Boy that is a good sweat. It's still raining here so no walking outside today. Lord it's never gonna stop.

Yep, Norma, low ends can be just killer! In some of her workouts, Cathe does them for what seems like an eternity (and you're doing them with like a 50 lb. barbell on your shoulders! :headache: )! I am IN ABSOLUTE AWE that you can do pec flies with 20 lbs.!!! I can only use 20's for back work! I bow down to you and kiss the ground you lunge on! :banana:

I hope you all enjoy a lovely Sunday! We're spending the afternoon boating with friends on this warm, sunny, beautiful GA day. They were even so kind as to promise not to fish in front of me, the resident vegetarian, animal rights activist! :angel: :teeth: S&k'smom, I soooooo wish I could take you with me and out of the rain and gloom! :hug:

Hey FIRM buddies!!

This morning I did Fat Blasting Cardio, Express Cardio, and the 8-min. ab add-on from UCB. I am sooo tired, but sooo happy it's over. I wanted to get lots of cardio in today because I'll be driving DD's car to So. Cal. tomorrow and Tuesday and I won't get a chance to workout. After spending a couple of days with her, I'm going to fly up to Lake Tahoe where DH and DS will meet me for Memorial Day weekend. I won't be back 'til the 31st, which means I don't get to FIRM until June 1. :sad2: I'm going to try to get in at least 3 runs while I'm gone, but I don't know what I'm going to do for strength training. :confused3

Kim, I'm so jealous of your warm, sunny days. We've had a very rainy spring. UGH! I want SUN!! :sunny:
