If the fireworks are at 9:45 (June 4th) where do you fellow DIS'ers recommend viewing them? It's obviously too late to eat dinner and watch from Ohana, but can we watch them on the beach at the Poly? We're staying at the AKL and didn't know about the "Resort hopping" rules where fireworks are concerned.

Can anyone recommend another spot to view them? It'll be my DH and my DS 2.

Thanks.

On one of our non-park days we went to the beach at Fort Wilderness where we watched both the Electrical Water Pageant and FITS.

Where is this "beach"? How do you find it from Pioneer Hall?

mommysteg, were you staying at the WL? I just wasn't sure what the policy was on this. I'd hate to be somewhere where we shouldn't.

Is there a place to watch in the MK or near the contemporary? We'll probably eat dinner there beforehand.

The Ft wilderness beach is a short boat ride from MK. It is near pioneer hall, but closer to the boat dock. I wouldn't think you have to be a FW guest to go there, but don't quote me on that! Certainly you don't need to be a Wilderness lodge guest. :)
