Honey felt it was so inappropriate for a daughter to have to make the call, but on Glo's advice Honey signed the papers. My3 came to Honey's side to be with her as she had begun to mention the idea to Mo. After contemplating Mo and his problems, My3 finally said, "just how long DO wolves live? Cause I'm figuring you must be at least 45 now, and Mo raised you from infancy, so he must be at least 46...which would make him like 322 in people years"....Suddenly Honey got afraid, she got very afraid.....both at the realization that her father was incrediblly old and that someone actually knew she was now 45. And also that My3 had figured that in her head, because Honey was still troubled by things like math.
Anyway, as cheeringmom said, that was what Mo overheard, so off to Alaska he went. But on the plane was The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. He had heard about this poor old wolf living outside his habitat in the islands and had come to capture him and return him to the wild. Alaska was just where Steve had in mind, so he didn't even have to pay for Mo's ticket...a savings of over $500.
Mo finally summoned the courage to ask Steve the life expetancy of a wolf, and Steve told him about 15 years. Oh my, Mo was a speciman, so the plane was diverted to the best wolf research station in America. This might have had a very sad ending for poor Mo...the medical tests he would have been subjected to, but TJ, who was now a US Air Marshall, intervened, flashed his badge and grabbed the wolf and returned him to Honey.....
