Well, as was mentioned earlier, Honey had an extreme fear from a former incident involving the SPCA, some carnies in town for the fair, and a Clark Candy Bar. Bear with me as I try to go back in time to create this terrifying and formative event in Honey's life.
As Mrs. MooToo mentioned, it all stemmed from obedience school at age 3. The SPCA sponsored the school that Honey was sent to. Each of the students were forced to perform tricks for treats. In each puppy's case, they were rewarded with a dog bone. Honey, being human, received a minature Clark candy bar. In a very unfortunate series of events, the carnies who were setting up the county fair in the vacant lot next door stormed into the SPCA one night, high on cotton candy and looking for a fight. They started throwing funnel cakes everywhere, which sent the puppies into a frenzy. Everyone was terrified and dogs, carnies, the instructor, and Honey were running in circles, afraid for their very lives. The instructor did what he could, but he was but a single man against this large band of carnival workers. He was powerless. Most of the puppies escaped the melee through a small cat door hidden in the back of an open closet. Honey was too big to squeeze, being that she was quite a stocky 3 year old, in part because of all the candy bars she won as the prize student. After subduing the instructor by hitting him in the eye with the minature Clark Candy bars, the carnies captured Honey and took her to the fair ground.
Honey was very afraid of heights, anything that spun, and especially being with carney folk, because they were just plain scary. The workers forced her to do the unimaginable: ride the ferris wheel and the spinning tilt-a-whirl. Before the teacher regained his senses and called Mo and Glo to the scene, Honey was struck with a terror of all men and a fear such as Mo and Glo had never seen on the faces of anything they had previously preyed upon.
They rushed her home and tried as best as they could to lick her wounds, but they were emotional, not physical and try as they did, Mo and Glo could not cure Honey's hatred for men.
As she aged, she knew that what would heal her would be taking out her hatred by hurting men. That mysterious spark that attracted all men was a burning desire on Honey's part to hurt them. She became a "love them and leave them" kind of HOney...bitter to this very day.
How could the DIS girls, Cletus, Diabetty, Mo and Alex help her:
