have good opportunity for memorial week. looks good. what do you guys think/feel about it. thanks.::yes:: :confused2

We stayed there a few years ago. The best feature about the property is that it's immediately adjacent to the monstrous Marriott World Center, and as a guest at Royal Palms you have access to the big pool and all the other amenities at MWC. I believe RP has a golf cart shuttle service that will drive you up to MWC at regular intervals. You can walk, but it'd be a bit of a hike for little kids if you have them.

That feature is also the drawback. Royal Palms has some nice pools and playground areas of its own, but as I recall there's no restaurant, bar, or food of any kind available. (I may be wrong, but I don't think so.) I think they presume that when people want that sort of thing they can just go up to the hotel.

That being said, Royal Palms is a very comfortable property, adjacent to a golf course. The units are nice, with all the amenities you'd expect from a well-appointed timeshare facility, and the front desk service and maid service was friendly and professional.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Royal Palms if you've got a line on a good deal to stay there, unless you think you'll need access to restaurant food or bar service. As I said, that will require a bit of a hike.
