I was able to get a package price for 2011 this morning... YEAH

We are going 2/1 - 2/6!! It will be myself, my DS11, my best friend, and her DD11. My DS15 will be there with his high school band. We are not going as tag-alongs, but are planning our own trip, and will watch the band march (they are in three parades, not sure which yet).

Airfare is being booked TODAY. My cousin is a CM and is booking our room for us. Can't do that until October or so. We are thinking maybe POFQ, CB, or POP.

For anyone staying at POR the week of 2/1-2/6...just a heads up that there will be a high school band staying there...approx. 350 members.

Hi all you February peeps! Just sitting here listening to Tomorrowland background music while I work, and getting more excited by the minute about our trip!! It seems so far away... but I know from experience how quickly the time flies, especially once school starts soon and then the holiday season and then bam!

So what do you guys do to pass the time? Me, I keep messing with my PassPorter, and shuffling around park schedules and Touring Plans crowd predictions. Makes me feel like I'm doing something in regards to the trip, even if I will end up changing it a hundred times between now and then.

What are y'all up to??

Right now I'm obsessively going over my park schedule and character dining options. I will be able to book them in 2 weeks. I have ripped up and started over about 50 times. I cannot decide between Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, if we should do mid-day breaks or not, if we should take advantage of EMH or not, etc. etc. I am too OCD for this!

Before I can get too excited about my trip, I need to figure out how to get my DS there! LOL He is in the process of fund raising, but the trip is $1140 per student, all inclusive (air, hotel, transfers, food...).

Once I have DS's share paid off, I will be able to concentrate on my trip. Plus, I don't know their schedule yet, and since I'm not purchasing hopping privileges, I need to know where they are on what day so I can see the parades!

I have been making dining reservations and looking up pictures of fort wilderness campgrounds. I think we are going to split between camping for three nights and POR for three nights (to off-set the 40% monster pin I'll now be missing) and fort wilderness looks AWESOME!!!!

So I changed reservations again . SO EXCITED when I came home from my weekend away and saw that they had 30% off @ POR the week I want to go. It's official. We are going February 5 - 11 I LOVE going in February so I am very excited.

So excited booked POFQ yesterday with free dining Feb 1-8! Mini family reunion-total of 8 of us coming together! So my time will be spent coordinating and taking suggestions from the other members of my party, looking at the touring plans and making our ADR's! I just love Disney--and can't wait for Feb 1!!

Changed my ressie yesterday too! I switched the trip to a week later to take advantage of free dining, which saved me nearly $500. SO excited!! And hey, it's one more week to save up.

I was on hold for a very long time and figured there must have been quite a few people changing their reservations.

And changing from Dec - Feb definitely gives us some more time to save (and maybe even a tax return )

It's good to see so many people getting the discounts. I was hoping for the 40% room only discount for the end of Feb. But it didn't stretch quite as far, and I don't have any interest in the free dining since it doesn't work for us. Maybe disney will decide to extend the room only discount... a girl can hope

That's what I'm hoping for too! Unfortunately, I know for a fact my previous employer sends out the tax stuff the very last day he can legally do so, so I'm sure I'll be filing much later than usual next year.
