I'm the boa girl Seems my original boa is MIA, and can't be replaced So I'm making a new one. Look for the fuzzy lime green scarf... I'll have it on all day. Maybe meet some people at the hotel and port for check-ins

As for where to meet, DH and I are good with anything. Anyone have a side they prefer, maybe that would help with the picking? We have late dining, so are good with an after meet too.

This time next week we will be lining up for the shuttle ride!

Hahahaha...now I'll remember you Debbie! Debbie the 'I once had a lime green boa' gal! Looking forward to meeting you in person...all decked out in your lime green scarf...if you have your scarf at check in...I'll wander over and introduce myself!

We have 6 pm dinner but we'll hang out on deck with whomever until then.

I'll try to look at pics from one of the parties I saw posted and see if there is one side that makes better sense.

I hope to have some lime green mickey head tags on the bag I'll be carrying...it is one of my 'to dos' before we head out.

Here I am at work having lunch and realized that this time next week we will be having our first meal on the Dream!

We have the 6pm Dinner so we are up for a meet after the life boat drill. I will be on the look out for the green scarf!

All five of us will have blue shirts on with mickey ears with the front.

Hi all. Haven't been on in a while. Just got home from visiting Colby with DS. Can't believe it's a week away!!!!! We are leaving Thurs pm can't wait!!!! So much to do!

Just finished a 12 hour day at work and I am tired. I need to pack we leave wed and I have done nothing. Will someone pack for me? I guess if I forget something I will just buy it. We have late dinner as well so who knows maybe we will be put with someone here on the boards. Is it true they try to match you with someone from the general area you are from? Yesterday we figured out what we were bringing and got it in the bags, at least for DH and DD. Me, well I was the one doing all the organizing so my stuff will have to wait. Found the travel size items and got those ready.

My DD can't wait to be in the kids club. She made sure she packed her Tinker Bell shirt for one of the days.

Aaahhh! My excitement has turned into stress! The kids have been sick (taking turns - just as one gets better, the other gets sick). DD was sick, DS was sick, back to DD, now back to DS. And now me too! DS was up all night with a high fever. We go to the dr this afternoon. So need get well vibes for him and for me & stay healthy vibes for DD & DH! And need the shopping/packing fairy to take care of everything else! And while I'm wishing, I'd like the cleaning fairy & the "make me a size 8 fairy" too! We leave Thursday.

Bummer on the sickness!! Hope you ALL feel better before you travel! Better now than on the cruise!! A bunch of coworkers have been sick and I've been walking around with hand sanitizer at the ready. Oh...and if the 'size 8 fairy' comes to your house...send her my way...although she might need back up support!

As for my preparations...I foresee an all nighter ahead...thank goodness I can sleep on the plane. Way too much going on...DD has multiple projects due before we leave and auditions today for a musical.

Thanks everyone! I thought about wishing for a size 6, but didn't want to be too greedy!

For the shirts, yes we are wearing them on Sunday. Of course, my MIL and FIL don't know about them yet, but I think they'll go along. . Good thing I did those - I have the important things done like that & a ton of door magnets, but don't have a bathing suit that fits right or any clue what I'm wearing for dinners!

Suggested DIS-Meet:

I thought I would follow up our thoughts for a Dis-Meet. Looks like some of us are game for a late Sunday afternoon meet on deck either before or after the 4:30 Sail Away Party.

Muster Drill is at 3:45

Meeting Time: 3:55-4:15ish on deck to watch the 4:30 Sail Away Party. We can chat before, watch the show and then chat a bit afterward if people aren't going to the 5 pm show.

Location: In front of Sail Away stage on the right as you are facing it. The below link should take you to Page 2 of a trip report and if you scroll down, you'll see pics of the Sail Away set up. If we try to congregate near that second real post (first post just past the stairs looks like something other than just a post)- that should be good enough to spy us.

Note that there have been reports of part of the Donald Pool still being open so the kids could swim if they wanted.

Debbie will be sporting a lovely DIS-green scarf, Renee's family will have colored swirl head Mickey shirts- hers is purple. I haven't a clue what I'll be wearing yet but I'll most likely have a camera in one hand, a black bag with a prominently displayed green Mickey head luggage tag and will have a blond 13 year old daughter in proximity.

I think that it is $9.95 per 24 hours and it is not wireless (unless something has changed since August).

I'm pretty sure they are $9.95 for 24 hours from when you connect. It is not wireless and the hookup location in the room we were in was between the beds with a fairly short cable.

I grabbed this for you from the Resort Board on the Pop thread...gotta love the DIS for all the amazing info we can find!

Internet Access
wired ethernet (high speed) internet is available in your room at the fee of $10 for 24 hour period; the speed has been reported very good
no wireless access available anywhere on WDW property
dial-up internet connection is an option; look for the Orlando (not Kissimmee) local number provided by your ISP
there are no courtesy computers to use or pay for use on the resort's property
if you do not have a computer but need internet access, you can rent computer time at the rate of $10.00 for 15 minutes only at the conventions centers located at the Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club, Dolphin, Contemporary, Coronado Springs, and Grand Floridian resorts; they are available for use by anyone staying at any WDW resort

What parks are you headed to on Thurs-Sat? How about dinner seating on the ship? Just want to give my daughter an idea so she can keep an eye out for your daughter!
