I never knew that went on at the spa, thanks for the heads up

lol Oh well, not like you spend much time in there anyways, right?

Hello everyone! First off, wow, 20 plus pages of reading material for this cruise. It took me awhile to get through it all.
I am Doug, and we are experiencing a whole bunch of firsts. First cruise for all of us, first Disney experience too!
We only booked last week for the Feb 11th cruise and we're all so looking forward to it. It has become such a big event for my girls they are ready to overlook Christmas! lol They have been counting down their sleeps already....
I have to admit that it has been an overwhelming flood of info since booking. I purchased a PassPorter book and it was in here where I found out about this forum. I look forward to learning more and reading all of your experiences, thoughts and ideas. Thanks!
p.s. we arrive on the 10th as most flights from Toronto don't arrive until the afternoon. We'll stay at the airport Hyatt overnight before heading to the cruise. We have our room, 6002, an inside stateroom on the outside of the ship!lol Oh well, not like you spend much time in there anyways, right?

Will def keep this in mind, but I understand the logistics of it for others, so we'll think quickly....

We are in the late seating as well, we have heard from others that this works out better in the long run for younger ones as they are awake for the show. Then the counselors will take them from you 45 minutes into dinner! Alone time to eat with the other half? Hmm, can't remember the last time we did!![]()
We do main seating because our kids are so young but we take them to the club and nursery about 45 min into dinner. It works perfectly. It would be even more perfect if the counselors picked up from early dinner too. Thanks for the welcome guys!
1. Not sure of arrival time, I guess whenever we decide to stagger down from our hotel room. I imagine we will try to get one of the first shuttles since we are already at the airport. I'm thinking the girls will be awake extra early and raring to go!
2. A meet would be great. Or Dismeet as it was put...
3. I have been reading about the FE, but I have to admit, even after checking the other posts, I am still a tad confused. Costs, quantity, acceptable items, that sort of thing.... I'm sure I'll get it figured out, and my girls love being crafty! Will def keep this in mind, but I understand the logistics of it for others, so we'll think quickly....
4. We have booked 2 excursions, one being the Tortola dolphin encounter as my girls really want to do this in St Thomas and St John, the other is See & Sea Island tour in the semi-submersible in St Maarten. Don't want to schedule too much.
