I've been gone all day, I come back and there are 4 more pages of posts! Can't keep up with y'all!! (Oh, I'm from NY, maybe that should be can't keep up with youse!)

Nicholas - great pics! My DH was a goalie. Or should I say IS a goalie. I don't think you can ever take the goalie out of him even if all he plays now is Men's Open Hockey when he can fit it into his schedule. Doesn't matter, though...every time he plays he comes home w/ a big ol' smile on his face and it's like he's a kid all over again!

Kate's home sick from school today. OH NO!!!! Well, it's just a head cold right now, but she didn't sleep well last night so I let her sleep in and veg out today. I went to the pharmacy and got an antibiotic prescription filled to take w/ us just in case!! I'm hoping the weather will be decent for the couple of days we're at WDW so she perks up b4 Saturday!!

I managed to get the kids' stuff packed last night after my MIL left. Yes, LisaPisa, I think she was intentionally trying to aggravate me! It sounds like you know my MIL!!!

Vic - Jack is wearing nice shorts for some of the dinner nights. He just doesn't have enough warm weather pants (and he doesn't fit into his stuff from the fall). It's corduroy season here so I figure he can get away w/ shorts, a belt, and a polo shirt. Kate will be in a dress every night, I'm sure. Girly girl!

Tracey - We will be at WDW on Thurs and Fri, but I don't know what we're doing on what day. It'll kind of depend on the weather. We have tix for the Pirates and Princesses party at MK on Thurs. night...other than that we're playing it by ear. I think the terminal doesn't open until 10 or 10:30 on Saturday. DH will drop us off at the terminal around 10, return the car to Budget, then shuttle back to the terminal.

OK...I think that kind of catches me up here. I'm off to take the kids to the dentist. Gotta have pearly whites when we smile at Mickey!!

I hope there aren't 200 more posts by the time I get home!

Going Insane in Buffalo ... aka Magicbound2007.... aka...Tammy

Taking kids to doctor in a half hour for followup to strep couple weeks ago and to get our prescription for antibiotics to take with us just in case we need them...hopefully we won't!!

My Mom went into a Nursing Home over the weekend for Hip Rehab. She fell a few weeks ago and broke the ball off her hip. So she is in alot of pain and I feel sick to my stomache leaving her!!

Is it Happy Hour somewhere yet???

If it makes you feel any better, I am the manager of a rehab dept. in a nursing home..sometimes the patients do better when family isn't around! They can focus on the rehab! She will be sooooo much better in a few days! The majority of the pain is the first 3-5 days....

Oh ya, my resident Hockey Mom (who is constantly here--lurking!!) pointed out that the score was actually 4-1; not 3-1. Being that I want to stay on the right side of a Hockey Mom , I am posting a correction.

Hi Jackie. I just checked with the agent who sent them out. She said they will be delivered Wednesday. I’m sorry, I have no idea what the delay was. Please Email Thursday if you have not received them. I’m sorry, but since I no longer work in that location I am not there to personally handle the shipping myself. Thanks.

How frustrating Jackie! The only saving grace is you don't really need the documents. Do the paperwork online or in the terminal. I know, though, having the docs in your hand seems to make the trip more real!! Look at this way...soon enough you'll have a martini in your hand and the document wait will be forgotten!!!

Thanks Queenbee! Once I read that it wouldn't keep me off the ship I wasn't nearly as paniced.......I just want them...you all understand!

So obviously, they didn't send them early today as she had stated!!
Now I have to say I went a different route with her when I emailed her....I didn't go all HockeyMom on her....I chose a much more effective tactic....I went all MyMom on her....for those not familiar with my loving Mother....I went for the guilt! Let her know I was "so disappointed" with the lack of communtication..."let down" by her service...
You know what I mean! It is scary how I can use all the tributes that drive me crazy about her so well!

I am itching to do something CRUISEY....I am at a stand still with packing...all I need now are socks, PJs and underwear....none of which do we have enough of to pack yet...I'll be doing a quick load of laundry Thurs. night!!

my mom uses manipulation.. her favorite.. oh, to have a mom.. that does the guilt trip.. my mom...likes to try to out think me and my dh..

i'm very good at the "welcome to the world of what if" (or the darkside)...

sooo.. they wanted to be paided by a certain date.. and it was understood that you would have your cruise documents by a cetain date..so since you held up your end of the contract and she/they didn't.. they plan to do "what" for you now.. a lovely bouquet or a nice bottle of wine delivered to your stateroom would be a lovely gesture..

i've gotten many nice little gifts.. always be sure to compliment them... at the end of the conversation.. or inquire about her wonderful vacation she just had..(didn't she just have a vacation)..

i'm pretty much at a standstill on packing too.. dh packed 4 swim suits, 4 polo shirts, 4 t shirts (not undershirts) and 2 pairs of shoes.. and 2 tropical print shirts..

Hi Everybody! It's been kind of quite today, is everybody overwhelmed or just really busy. I took my son to get his hair cut after school today. 1 buzz cut and he is ready. I'm just trying to get through the next 4days so we can get the heck out of here.

Got to go to work in the am so I'll try and catch up with you all tomorow night.

Thanks Jackie! Unfortunately, she has ALOT of other problems too. She has had 5 vascular surgeries since April, has bad heart problems and COPD along with compression fractures in her back. We had just started Hospice for her about a month before she fell. When I went to see her today she said she really wasn't eating because she felt sick to her stomache. She can't afford not to eat because she only weighs around 65 lbs. I'm thankful that my sister in law is a Director of Nursing for a Family Care Business and also worked in Nursing Homes for many years so she is going to be checking in my Mom for me....still not the same though...it's just that I can't pickup the phone and call anytime I want...

Hey everyone doin' the 5 day dance

We are leaving Friday morning a 9am arriving in MCO at 6:30pm. So won't be doing much on Friday except for getting some escentials at the grocery store cause I don't want to pack them on the airplane. Like hair supplies, adult beverages, special juices that they don't on the ship, sunblock, tooth paste, etc. But we are pretty much ready to go, work is a bear this week. I am a IS administrative manager who also support department staff the process w2's and 1099. The staff has waited to the last min to process the forms and I had to redesign the print layout overlay and such and they have to have them all printed and out by the 31st ya know. Why do they wait to the last min, don't they know I'm going on vacation and I need to do nothing the last week before my vacation so I can sit at my desk and daydream about what I will be doing next week and reading what is on my dis board meet group. No they are making me work, too much, even overtime, except I am a manager and I don't get OT pay. Oh yah I have to have next years budget completed by Wednesday also. Boo Hoo woo is me

Anyway. To everyone that is leaving early and enjoying the park ahead of time have a safe and uneventful flight or drive to the port.

yeah, that is one lesson I learned well last year...

I do understand the whys of the weight thingy.. but, a family of 3 is allowed to check in 6 bags total... so if that same family of 3 because of the large suitcases only has 4.. would it not even out?

so this year... after paying the penalty.. we are taking 6 loosely packed bags...cause yes, i do like to pack everything i own..

I can't believe we've gone this far with no snow and we could get a lot Thurs & Fri, Oh No!!!! Gas is down to 1.90 on a good note. We packed yesterday. DW has 2 suitcases and I got everything into my carryon.
