Okay....couldn't stay at work today....I CAN'T WAIT FOR OUR TRIP!!

I am off to school to help the teachers copy the make up work for Jake and Leah....Hopefully it isn't too much!!

Catwoman- Thanks for the info on Palo. I really don't want to miss it.

Tammy- We are not in practice together. He is family practice and I am an emergency physician. As for the "silly" question. I actually do have my own doctor, but only call him fo big crazy things. For the usual cough and cold stuff I handle it on my own or have my DH write a Rx for me. It is kind of nice, but as you would anticipate can have it's down side.

What time is everyone planning on getting to the port? Do you know if there is a time they won't let you in until?

My cruise docs should finally be here today. I can relate to Jackie since I'm sitting here reading the boards instead of working...why do they expect me to work the week I leave for vacation? I keep telling everyone...I leave Friday..if you need something, ask now.

I started packing last night and found that some of the clothes from my April cruise are too tight. UGH. I haven't been brave enough to try on my formal dress. I'll do that tonight.. But I can't worry about a diet now, it will have to be when I come home...I'll be depressed then anyhow.

Can't wait to meet you all this weekend. If I don't get back here before I leave, have a safe trip to the port.

Usually you can enter the terminal at 10am. I like to get there early and people watch and hope to be able to be in the first group that boards. I like to maximize my time on the boat. Those of you with children...in the terminal is a check in(wrist bandsfor the kids and pagers for the parents) for the kids' club, so you can get all that done before getting on the boat.

Gary- I'm sorry to hear about your printer, but the black speedo? Really! That explains why you only need a carry on.

Thanks for the port arrival time update. I think we will get there about 930/10 also.

Gary and Gail are making the hardcopy final list for the meet on Saturday. We're meeting up with them on Friday night at DTD and travelling to PC together.

I haven't been brave enough to try on my formal dress.

I totally relate. I went to try mine on this a.m. and the zipper was broken!!! They must have broken it when it was cleaned b/c I've only worn it once and it was fine! AARRGGHHH!!! I ran to the tailor who said she can put in a new zipper and I can pick it up tomorrow a.m. b4 we leave for the airport. However, I don't even know if it fits!! Well, I'm having the zipper fixed and desperately searching for back-up dress in my closet just in case! My earlier comments about being naked may actually become a reality. On a + note, I ran to the outlets in the 2 hours that DS was at school and bought some shorts, capris and tops - so I may not be nekkid the entire trip!

I have to get off this computer and go pack. NOW!!! In 24 hours we'll be boarding the plane to Floriday!! HOORAY!!

What an awesome mommy/daughter bonding moment!!

Just got back from school....although they are sending a TON of work for the kids, both teachers told me not to stress about it....thought that was nice!!

Of course, while I was being the dutiful (sp??) mother, FedEx tried to deliver my documents...figures!! At least I know I will definitely have them tomorrow!

I am sitting here eating a Yodel as I read about everyones clothing issues...I am such a stress eater! I think I need to cut myself off until the trip!!

We are at the Radisson too!!! We are getting in to the airport around 2:30pm...then have my cousins family coming to stay the night to visit. We will be around and are scheduled on the first shuttle at 10pm! Sounds like we may have another meet at the terminal!!

I have been keeping a list of recommended wines from the DCL wine list. There were others recommended, but these were the few that sounded good to me! Let me know if you have tried them!!

DH isn't a huge wine-o like me, he'll try a glass of something new....but we thought we'd buy a bottle or two to take around with us for dinner......

been running errands.. and had to celebrates best friends b'day lunch.. it was a happy and laid back affair.

still have to please my mother.. somehow... before i go...

went and got a spray on tan today.. picked up dresses from the seamstress.. chan and i are getting pedicures thursday.. and another spray on tan session thursday.. this was my first time to ever do that.. and omg.. i was scared i was going to have a ross (from friends) encounter.. had starter troubles..

i can't wait to meet y'all..

so if you see us at the terminal.. i'm really tall.. my husband is tall.. my daughter is tall for her age. we're tall folks.. we should be arriving around 11:00 chan will have on yellow disney crocs, jeans and a long sleeved grumpy lime green shirt.. not sure what donnie or i are wearing yet... he'll have a big off white canvas tote bag with navy straps and walt disney world logo on it.. i'll have a big light pink floral tote bag (cotton) that much I can tell you..

There will be FULL MOON starting on Friday 2.2.07 and it happens to be Groundhog Day.

It's also our 5 year wedding anniversary (hence the reason for us joining you folks on the Happy Laid Back Cruise!!!) Easy to remember our anniversary: 2-2-02

I just called our provider - Verizon - We are in. Service on the island, and no roaming. Thanks for pointing it out, DW sister is sick, and we need to keep in the loop.

My DH just spoke with Verizon Wireless and we would pay 1.29/minute on the Islands. Not as high as calling ship to shore, but thought it would be less.
