Feb. 6, 2015 5- night Caribbean: I Wonder who's On Board?

Hi everyone,

We just booked this cruise - our first! We're really excited. It is a bit of a delayed celebration for myself & my husband and our long-awaited son. My husband thought we should try for a vacation that offered some options for a small bit of adult time and being such huge Disney fans, a DLC seemed a good option. We are really looking forward to Castaway Cay. What else do folks who've sailed on the Wonder recommend? Has anyone used the infant nursery for an evening or two? Our son will be just over a year old when we sail.

Welcome to the group! There are a lot of options for "just adult time". One thing is just to go into the adult area (there's a pool, a coffee shop, usually music), and you can book an adult dinner. I have not had the opportunity to use the nursery but I see people post wonderful things about it. My children always enjoyed the kids camps on ships. Theres so much to do!

Our nephew just used the nursery for his 2 year old on the Fantasy just a couple of weeks ago and he had a ball. Years ago my daughter used them on the Wonder and Magic for both of our grandkids and never had a problem. The grandkids are now 11 & 9. The oldest just graduated to the Edge. The nursery and Clubs are the reason we are now platinum. Gives the adults some worry free time to enjoy their trip.

Welcome! We are glad to have you with us! You join the FE, and even sign up for a mixology group we are doing. Let me know if you have any trouble finding that or if you have any questions. It's our first DCL cruise, but we've been planning for months!

We noticed the Fish Extenders last time and are excited to participate this time around. We don't actually have our cabin number yet though. Will I just add it later?

Yes, you can just list it as TBD and add the number when you know it.

Hi All,

This is going to be our first Disney Cruise, so I'm late to the party on the discussion board since I did not know these existed. We are actually doing our wedding on Castaway Cay and super excited. I'm sure you will see us all dressed up on the beach! There will be 40+ guest in our party from all parts of the US and Mexico. We can't wait! I loved reading through everyones information. Hi everyone!

OUR MAIN FE FOR THIS CRUISE IS NOW CLOSED! We have three groups of 15 cabins each for a total of 45 cabins participating in the main FE.

There IS A "LAST MINUTE" FE group, so YOU CAN STILL JOIN! You'll have to wait until January 5th to get the final cabin numbers for that group.

My husband and I (Alan and Rachel) just signed up for this cruise. We got a good last minute GTY rate and will be escaping the cold of Massachusetts for a few days. This is our fourth Disney cruise and our first on the Wonder. At this point, the holidays are going to go fast and then the trip is right around the corner! Can't wait!

Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.
