I am off to disney tomorrow and was planning on getting my traditional desert pretzyel with the icing and almonds on it at Norway in Epcot...is this have a similar taste as the sweet bread? I definetly need a description of the sweet bread!

We've never ben lucky enough to try the beaver tails, the stand was always closed, and now I hear it's gone.

The rice cream is what we call rice pudding here in NY. My grandmother, who was from Norway, made it all the time, and sadly I never watched her or even got the recipe. I just know it was creamy sweet cooked rice with cinnamon and fruit topping.

I never had the school bread.

So much to eat, so little time!

Oh my! I'm not a big sweet eater but must haves are:

Baklava from Morocco
Frozen bananas from the stands
Raspberry Sorbet from Le Cellier
Chocolate Mousse from Nine Dragons
Chocolate or lemon gelato from Italy

Guess I do like more sweets than I thought

Has anyone ever had the grapefruit cake from the Brown Derby? I have never been able to get it although I have tried 5 times!! It sounds wonderful! I just never seem to have the correct timing....someday I am going to call and see if they will mail me a slice!!!!!!

DH and I went down for the EE preview this past weekend and even managed to grab some of these great treats while we were down there.

When we got to MK we went straight for the Dole Whip and Citrus Swirl. I prefer the Dole Whip but, DH discovered that he loves the Citrus Swirl with some pineapple juice (stollen from my Dole Whip) pored over the top! He says that next time he is going to get a vanilla in pineapple juice float from Aloha Isle.

I grabbed a bucket of Caramel corn to go from Sleepy Hollow and when we got home, DS spilled the entire bucket

Oh well, just gives me a good excuse to stock up in a couple of weeks when I go back.

Did I mention that the Twirl chocolate bars from the UK in Epcot are the best ever? I bought 8 and I only have 1 left! What was it that someone was saying about a diet???

Well, I finally had the dole whip two trips ago - awesome!
Had the Pineapple float this last time - really good.
Also had -
DS's favorite - Kaki Gori
frozen banana - you got to try one!
Chocolate Mousse from France
And my personal favorite to carry with me out of WDW - chocolate covered Mickey pretzels! I bring them home and eat them for weeks afterward. Such a sweet reminder.

Fantasizing about the Macadamia Pralines. They make the pralines with other nuts, too, but there's just something so decadent about having them with fresh madadamias. YUM!

oooh!!! Where are these?? DH and I LOVE Macadamia nuts and praline anything .... tell me where to find them please!

The glazed pecans are my favorite!!

OMIGOD! We discovered these in Epcot during our April 2005 visit. We stopped and bought 2 bags every night to take back to our BCV for tv snacking. The aroma is enough to make me swoon!

My fave is vanilla dole whip float (in pineapple juice). It has taken me several years to get the combination just right...
