I'm on a mission to promote Citrus Swirls. They are the only "must-have" when I hit the Magic Kingdom. Of course, I also enjoy the Mickey ears ice cream bars, anything from the bakery in France and the make your own treats at Goofy's Candy Co. at Downtown Disney. I had a rice crispie treat last October and I couldn't eat it all at once. Can't wait to go back and get another one!
Dole Whips are Pineapple Soft Serve. They have it as straight up or as a swirl. Either in a cup or as a float made with Pineapple juice. I go for straight Pineapple in either cup form or as a float.
Location: Pass over the bridge from the Main Hub/Crystal Palace direction and it's going to be pretty quick on your right. There is a covered seating area that I noticed they used for characters this last trip but in the past i've sat there to enjoy my treat
Now what's this Citrus Swirl???? Orange Soft Serve??? If so then I have gotta try that. Taste like a Orange Creamiscle????
One treat I have to have one of these days because it's traditional is the Mickey Icon Ice Creams. I know lots love those and have seen them mentioned again on this threat So many treats soooo little time when you visit. I think I'd have to go from morning till bed eating to try it all LMBO As it is I can only fit in 1 Dole Whip a trip lately.
You've got it. It's just outside the exit of the Enchanted Tiki Room. It's soft ice cream swirled with soft-frozen orange juice. Or you can get just the frozen juice. They are delicious!
For me my must-have sweet is a hot-fudge sundae from the Main Street Ice Cream Parlour. Ahhh .. the cold ice cream, the hot fudge, and the sweet memories of trips past and to come.
We bought some Chip & Dale Peanut Brittle in MK and it was absolutely beautiful! I later found it again in the Mercantile at Wilderness Lodge Gooooooooooorgeous!!!!!!!!
I will have to write some of these down and look into having them in June and September when I go. The citrus swirl sounds good. And of course anything chocolate.
