FastPass+ for the day before on-site check-in

I have a client that is checking in on Feb 11 to a Disney resort. We had 4 day park tickets for them and I was able to make all the FP+ selections at the 60 day mark. They then wanted to arrive a day early (the 10th) and got an off-site resort for that first night. We added a 5th day to the park tickets. I wanted to make FastPass+ picks for them on the 10th but the system is not allowing for this. Because the tickets are part of the resort package I can't book for the day before arrival. I was hoping at the 30 day mark (when its open to anyone with tickets) the system would allow it, but it still is not. Anyone have any similar experiences with this or suggestions to make this work? Thanks so much!

Your clients will not be able to book FPs for that day until they arrive and have their packaged tickets activated.

That is the main drawback of packaged tickets. They do not become active until check-in day. Hope your client is understanding.

ETA: They will need to activate their tickets at a Guest Relations window.
 
Thank you for the help. That is what I was thinking was the answer. I even called MDE help desk and they could not do anything.
