Fantasmic Thread!

No F! packages on offered on Thursday May 1.

F! packages are offered on Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3.

Park hours are now available through Monday, April 14 (the week before Easter) and Disneyland is open until midnight on Monday. Interesting that they aren’t running Fantasmic! during the week, but are keeping the park open late, just as @joseph821 predicted.

Disneyland is open until midnight most of the year. DCA is usually open until 10 pm and occasionally open until 11 pm.

True, but currently they are showing Disneyland as closing at 10pm during the week for early March (through March 12) and again from March 31-April 10. The two weeks it is open until midnight during the week in March, they are running Fantasmic! For whatever reason, they aren’t running Fantasmic! during the week for the weeks before and after Easter, but apparently are keeping the park open until midnight. Just something I find somewhat surprising, and since we’ll be there the week before Easter, I’ve been paying more attention then usual!

DL had cut back on Fantasmic performances. The performers joined the union last year. It had been classified as a parade and historically performers would work the two parades, do meet-and-greets, then the two shows. My understanding is they’re trying to change this. Obviously DL has an entertainment budget, so…

LAUSD is off the week of Easter so that’s why there are later park hours. They also usually don’t run fantastic nightly just for one week.

How are the water projection views from the different vantage points?.

There are several water screens so your view from any of the dining package seats will be fine. It is when you move farther to the side that you might have more of an obstructed view.

@crystal1313 has a video from the RB Premium seats which is beyond the dining package seats you are referring to. River Belle Terrace Premium Dining Package Fireworks View. Here is another one from the Harbour Galley area which is off to the side in the other direction, beyond the RdZ viewing. This video of Fantasmic is from the edge (least central seats) of RdZ. Their view of the projection screens would be the same as what you would see for fireworks.

Hello,

Do anyone know how the ticket inventory is determined for the fantasmic dining upgrade (the day of) at Cafe Orleans? Just wondering if we would be guaranteed Fantasmic tickets if booking an early lunch. Under what circumstances would tickets not be available for us for an early lunch? Thanks for any advice.

It is unlikely they wouldn’t have tickets to either show at lunch. I imagine it is possible for a late dinner but haven’t seen any stories of it happening. Even at the other restaurants you’ve been able to add Fantasmic to a regular reservation when the Fantasmic reservations were sold old.
