Saturday menu for Innkeepers

I don’t know why, but today’s menu for the evening rotation at BWI was very lacking. To the point that there was very little to eat. The Samosas were the size (and quality) of Tony’s Pizza Rolls. The next night rotation had a ton of things and was high quality, but we found this rotation to be very out of the norm for CL. It was our first night, and we were very thrown off. Just a heads up so you can prepare!

I leave tomorrow for GF/RPC, yay! Will be a lot of working from my room/the lounge this trip. Checked rooms one last time yesterday and bam, last minute BB stuff was available - I managed to change my deluxe king room to a resort view and saved over $200. At least I know I’m bring as cheap as possible while splurging. I’ll try to take pics, especially if there’s new items!

We just walked around the lobby this morning. I didn’t take pictures, but there is nothing inside the main building anymore. Nothing on the monorail platform, stores or restaurants. I forgot to check around the bus stops.

The work has moved out front by the porte cochère area at this time, right under the monorail. A friend of mine sent me this one from a couple days ago. Would like some updated daytime shots for the GF thread. Blogs haven’t posted anything lately. Thanks, have fun!

We just moved to BWI from CR Tower Club. Unfortunately the first 2 days were drizzly & cloudy, so I didn’t really get on the balcony at all. We were in 4911, the resort view king with the better bathroom set up. The staff as usual was great, friendly & welcoming. The lounge was never busy, there were a few other people at breakfast, but afternoons & evenings it was almost always empty. Someone commented awhile ago that because of this the food doesn’t really turn over very much. This is the first time I noticed that as well. We ate a few bigger lunches so stopped in about 6:30 for a few bites.The appetizer items looked a little dried out by then. Although the few things I tried were appropriate temperature. These were Thursday April 9

Breakfast CR Tower Club Thursday April 9. They had the bacon, sausage & impossible sausage Thursday & Friday. I saw Ham & not bacon this morning. The also had a pan of warm cinnamon rolls with glaze. We weren’t eating in the lounge this morning, so I couldn’t get a picture with no one around. There was also cold cereal, hot oatmeal, pastries, muffins, bread & bagels for toasting. There was an egg casserole instead of scrambled eggs yesterday. Orange & POG juice in the morning.




I thought I had dessert pictures but I’m sorry, I guess i didn’t take any. Every night had chocolate chip & sugar cookies with sprinkles plus another cookie. One night lemon, 1 night chocolate with sea salt. Also a small bar like cake piece, last night was a carrot cake. At least 2 small cups of pudding/ moouse type item, I think there was an Oreo type of that. We didn’t really have desserts so didn’t note them all. There’s freezer with Mickey bars & a few other novelties but I didn’t check which ones.
