Fantasmic packages

Why is it that I can make a lunch reservation online at Mama Melrose for 1p, but if I select "Dining Event" for the Fantasmic Package, there's nothing available? Is there a special menu or pricing for the package or something?

You have to call in to Disney dining to make the reservation. You will want to choose the special event dining from the choices. I learned that the hard way last year!!

There are usually many availability at Mama Melrose. But F! Mama Melrose package is not the same as normal adr at MM. The number of F!MM is very limited and there is highly likely chance that it is all booked. I managed to get mine for this Sept at 186 days before and adr opens up 180 days and +10 days for those who are staying at Disney resort.

Also, if caldendar is blurred, try typing in the date 10/22/2011.... that should bring out the dates.

Thanks. I will call in the morning and see if I can find anything. Thankfully, I do already have an ADR for the Fantasmic pkg, but it was later than I would like, and I keep checking to see if anything has opened up due to cancellations.

You can do it online under dinner events I believe. I booked mine online!

The Fantasmic Dining Package guests will be directed to the Highlands gate 30 to 45 minutes prior to the the show for seating. The Highlands gate is located between the Beauty & the Beast theater & the One time On a Time store on Sundown Blvd.

OK, so now it's more clear to me. I called and spoke to a CM and asked why I can book "lunch" at 12:30-1ish online, but not a Fantasmic package. After looking into it a bit, she said that the F! lunch packages at Mama Melrose are only available from 1:30 until 3 or 3:30. So, I'm guessing they use the packages to fill seats at "off" lunch times, and the more popular lunch times are used for other guests.

I kept my existing late afternoon ressie, but will keep checking for cancellations up until we leave.

we couldn't get our October date online for Fantasmic package but at 180 days out did get one by phoning the number. Got the last one at MM for the 180+1 date that we wanted (October 23rd)

For those of you who got fantasmic adrs, does it actually say fantasmic on your email confirmation? Mine doesn't even though it was clear the cm who booked it thought it was. Thanks!

Guess not really super hard but just felt her tone was not necesary... How was I to know at the time?

Do you know when you can call? I tried both flipping through the calendar and calling yesterday. I tried manually entering it too. I couldn't get anywhere. The great news is someone who is going on 5/6 has several options!!
If today Oct 9th could be manually entered, would you wait until 5/21ish for Oct 27th?

Wow, that was RUDE!! What's even worse about the rudeness is that the CM was flat out wrong. I just booked a FDP ADR about half an hour ago and cancelled another one at the same time. You can definitely do it online. You just have to go through the dining events option rather than regular ADR option on the website.

first, I just checked the site again and the Oct dates are finally up!! However, there isn't much availability. You can call at 180 days out.

I just a F dinner package for Oct 23 online. I looked at the Oct. 27 days and there was almost nothing left to book.

A big thanks to all of you! There was nothing for 10/27 now! Boo! But that's okay. I will keep checking. I may try calling tomorrow. I know last year when we went, they were giving the tickets out to others who did not have the pckage originally. we have a lat lunch time right now so maybe the pixie dust would fly!!

Keep checking. When I called for the F! package, the rep first gave me a dinner time that just wouldn't work with small kids, but then found an okay lunch time. As time went on, I kept thinking maybe it wasn't a good time and just decided to check online and found the earliest possible lunch time! I'm learning it oays to keep checking online
