Fantasmic Package & Sci-Fi? Is there?

I can not get a ADR at Sci-Fi that would get me heading towards Fantasmic by 8:15pm. Can I call and request and earlier time? or does a package exsist?

If you are trying to book a Fantasmic package, On the online dining page change the selection from "restaurant" to "dining event" and chose "Fantasmic dining", or call the dining line to book.

Sci Fi is not one of the Fantasmic! Dining Package restaurants. The package is only available at Mama Melrose, Hollywood Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine.

If you just want to eat at Sci Fi you can call the dining line to see what is available for that day. If you prefer to make the reservation on line, put in your desired time and the system will search for 2 hours before and after that time.

Depending on how busy it will be when you go, without the F! dining package you'll need to allow time to line up early to get into the amphitheater. If you're planning to line up at 8:15 for an 8:30 show that might be too late.

Fantasmic on that night is at 9pm. I wanted to be heading to the arena by 8:00-8:15 but the only time available is 7:40 so I took that and made plans to be there much earlier then that and hopefully be seated.

We made ADR for The Brown Derby at 5:00 (only time available) with the Fantasmic tickets for later that night. Can't wait!!

Just a heads-up...we have been to Fantasmic about 4 times in the last year, including May 2012...and they were directing people to the standing-room-only section by about 45 minutes before the show. Your plan of heading to the theater by 8-8:15 may mean that you do not get seats at all. In fact, you might not get into the theater. In Feb 2012, my son got to the theater 30 minutes before the show and they were not letting anyone in except people with the reserved seats tickets...they told him the theater & standing room was full at 60 minutes before the show. If you really want to be sure of getting into Fantasmic, I would suggest sitting down to dinner no later than 6:30, and being well on your way towards the theater before 8:00 PM.

I would not count on getting seated earlier, Sci Fi is pretty popular, and I have generally had to wait a bit before getting seated. If you really want to do Sci Fi, I'd check for something for lunch, then just grab CS for dinner. This way you'll give yourself plenty of time to get in the line for Fantasmic

You could try going to Sci Fi at the beginning of the dinner period and see if you can walk in at that time.

I agree that you might want to try to be to the theater a little earlier.
