I had a question that I felt embarrassed asking during the phone interview, because I didn't want to sound negative. Is it still true that you can get put in the parking lots if you get in for Attractions? I was talking to someone from Northeastern (a school right near me!) when I went down there a few years ago (which is the first time I heard about the program, and when I decided I wanted to do it) and she said back then that if you select attractions, you also have a chance to be put in a parking lot for 5 months.

I know there used to be Operations, maybe that's what she meant? I am not sure.... and I really don't want to be in a parking lot.

I checked my role sheet and it says that working the parking lot is operations if that helps you any.

I was told most college program kids arent placed in the parking lots, but I could be wrong

It used to be Operations ran attractions, Front Entrance, and Parking. Now attractions is seperate. So if you get attractions, you won't be in Main Entrance or Parking.

Hi! I'm completely new to these forums but not so new to the Disney college program! I went out for it last semester but didn't get accepted, but am currently hoping for Fall 2009! I would love to work in Attractions, or Main Entrance, but something tells me previous work experience is going to send me to Food Services lol!

It's nice to meet everyone!

Boiler up!

I'm not sure what it said on the note, but I guarantee you it's because I can't do my first semester of college at Disney :) Yeah I totally tried going in for my first semester, but after reading the college program website I realize I CAN'T DO THAT lol!

I had my interview last week and it went great
I really hope i get it
and especially the fall advantage!
but I wont know till the end of this month!
Im soo excited though!
