Fall/Fall Advantage 2009 Hopefuls!!

Alright, so I have a query. I asked my mom, and she said I should, but my DF and DBF said it seems desperate... I just wanted to be nice.
I was going to include a note (on mickey paper, of course) that says "Hi there Disney CM - Thank you for considering my recommendation, have a magical day! - Danica"

...Now.. I thought it was just being nice, but apparently it seems too desperate? Maybe they just don't get the Disney way? My mom loves Disney, and was for it, but DF and DBF aren't Disney people... so that might be why. What do you guys think?

I think its a cute idea, but in my own opinion I wouldnt send it, just because even though its Disney it is a professional company and you dont do that with a professional company your hoping to get a job with. But then again its Disney they may love it, I dont think it would hurt your chances in getting in.

9. How many roommates/rooms would you like? (1-7 roommates, 1-4 rooms)?: I am not sure I have never had a roomate besides DF so I am nervous I was thinking 5 or 3 room mates.
10. Do you like to party? Will you be hosting parties/activites in your apartment?: I have never really partied but I am not against it and hope to have a blast while there.
11. What's your favorite food, and more importantly, can you cook well?: I am a very picky eater, I can cook basic thing but hey this answer may change once I am done with my culinary class this semester.
12. If your friends could describe you in three words what would they be?: Loyal, Honest, Goofy
13. What kind of music/movies do you like?: I like most music except Country and Rap. I mainly listen to Envy on the Coast, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Brand New, Kate Nash. Movies love disney, comedy, drama, horror.

15. Do you drink? (socially or alcoholic): Very Rarely

Sure. The discounts that I remember are:
Resort- Up to 50% off if you stay in the room, up to 40% off if it's for family. I believe it can go to 60%.

Merchandise- 20% normally. 40% during the Christmas holiday

Dining- I believe it's 20% off (there are limits to where it can be used. It usually is just for FSFB places. But there are a few QSFB where it can be used).

Does anybody know how long it should take them to add a school to the application? I emailed them Tuesday but I haven't heard anything back yet. I really want to get the ball rolling ASAP, but I can't interview until I fill out the application.

Oh yeah. It's no problem staying in the resorts.

Yes. You can use the dining discount for whoever you want, if you are there with them.

I feel so uneasy after my interview... I know people don't get into the program because it fills up, but does anyone know people that don't get in because Disney thinks they won't be a good fit? I mean I got in once, but had to turn it down. But I don't think I had a very good interview
