fair resale price for OKW??

Hi everyone. I've been searching the resale market lately. Thanks to those of you that have answered my questions. I was wondering what you thought a good range for price per point for OKW expiring 2042 would be? I think I'm ready to make an offer but I don't want my offer to be unrealistic. I've searched the boards and seen that people have gotten OKW for $45 and have passed ROFR. I've seen some people asking for $100 per point for OKW. I know there are many variables but what do you think is a fair price at this time??

The resale market is a moving target where prices change as time goes on. So to me the fair price is whatever you can get it for that will pass ROFR. That being said at this moment in time it seems the larger point contracts are going between $50 and $60 pp, and the smaller contracts, 100 or less for $5 to $10 dollars more. You also have to take into account if the contract is stripped or not. If it is stripped I would expect to get it for less than a fully loaded contract.

Based on Donaldis#1's ROFR thread here on the Disboards, it looks like it's a rare OKW contract that sells in the $40's. More seem to sell in the low to mid $50s. The smaller the contract the higher the figure.

You can actually make any offer you want on a contract and the seller has the right to refuse your offer. It could be just a quirk that a few individuals accepted a lower price because they just wanted to get rid of their OKW contract. The problem is that here on the Disboards we just hear about only a few of all the contracts sold so we can't be sure exactly what the average resale price is. A broker at one of the resale companies might be able to give you an idea what the contracts are selling at that firm, but once again that is just part of the contracts sold. To my knowledge no one keeps track of that information by checking each OKW contract that has sold.
