Fago De Chao

Ohana's is my family's favorite restaurant. Everyone is disappointed it will be closed for our next trip. We have a car and I noticed that Fago De Chao is not to far away from our hotel. As far as quality of food or comparing to Ohana, I know its not exactly the same, but is that a good substitute? Are there other options maybe that would be better?

Haven't been to this particular Fogo De Chao but in general 'Ohana is a poor imitation of the ones' I have been to.

I haven't been to the Orlando Fogo de Chao but the Philadelphia location is amazing and worthy of the price. There's no comparing the quality of meat- Fogo de Chao is far superior to Ohana.

We have been to two Fogo de Chão - King of Prussia and Philly city center and both were really delicious. I am not sure how they are doing the buffet part since covid, but it was always my favourite part. I'm sure Orlando is the same and way better and more variety than 'Ohana.

I went to the Fogo de Chao in King of Prussia too (hey Philly area peeps! ) and it was awesome. I don’t eat red meat so I enjoyed the chicken on skewers and then really REALLY enjoyed the buffet. I’m not sure what the new policy is, from a quick google the website still describes the “market table” to be pretty much the same as it was pre-COVID but maybe I’m reading it wrong.

On the other hand, although I am a diehard foodie and consider the food at WDW to be meh at best, Disney themed restaurants are some of the most unique in the world. I would rather eat at a restaurant like San Angel Inn (dining at “twilight” with the ruins and volcanos, overlooking Gran Fiesta Tour) and have a terrible meal than go to a chain restaurant and have a wonderful meal. Which btw, we’ve done- it was a triple digit lunch $$$ at San Angel Inn and it was truly awful food. But my kids still remember the ambiance! We usually only go to WDW every 3 years so we try to stay in the bubble and experience all of the themed dining you can’t do anywhere else. I would suggest Sanaa, it’s still on the bucket list for me but I hear the food is fine and you can get a table with a savannah view.

This. We've eaten at the Philly location several times. I'd choose that over Ohana any day if you're strictly comparing quality of food. This is our go to place to celebrate special times. (ds's graduation, my 50th bday, etc.)
