I just noticed that there are PM EMH at HS during our stay in 2 weeks. We were torn about whether to watch Fantasmic or the Star Wars Spectacular Show. Now with that EMH, I'm hoping to watch The Star Wars show on our planned HS day and then on that EMH night, hop over after dinner to see Fantasmic. As of right now there is only 1 Fantasmic show listed, do they ever add a second showing during EMH?

There is no direct correlation between PM EMH and an additional Fantasmic! performance.

Sometimes there WILL be a second F! on a night WITH PM EMH.
Sometimes there will NOT be a second F! on a night WITH PM EMH.

Sometimes there will be a second F! on a night without a PM EMH.

F! only has shows during regular park hours.
So if a second show is added both shows would occur while every guest is able to see the show.

They would not for example close at 8pm with an F! show and then have another F! show at 10pm at the end of EMH.
Instead they would have one F! show at 7pm and another at 8pm and then EMH would be from 8pm to 10pm.

I hope that this makes some kind of sense.
It does in my head anyways.

1. F! only has shows during regular park hours.
2. So if a second show is added both shows would occur while every guest is able to see the show.
3. They would not for example close at 8pm with an F! show and then have another F! show at 10pm at the end of EMH.
4. Instead they would have one F! show at 7pm and another at 8pm and then EMH would be from 8pm to 10pm.

1. Sorry, that's not true.
In fact, they often have a F! that begins 30 minutes AFTER the park is "closed" even with no EMH.
2. THAT's true, but they often have a F! during EMH, it's just that the show during EMH is open to ALL guests, as you say.
3. No, but they could have the first F! at 8PM, and then at 9PM "close" DHS and begin EMH... and have a second F! at 9:30PM.
4. They COULD do that, but the second F! show usually begins 90 minutes after the first one.
And, again, the second show could (would) often begin during the EMH.

I'm going down in January and am trying to figure out ADR's for our DHS night and I'm wondering if they run 2 shows of Fantasmic or if there is only one at the usual closing time?

They can run one -or- two shows.
Often it will be much closer to the actual date before they announce a second performance of a given evening.
(Sometimes as late as the day-of.)

Fantasmic! does not necessarily start "at" park closing time.
It can start an hour or more before park closing time, or at park closing time, or even a half-hour AFTER park closing time.

The start times for F! will be listed on the WDW calendars,
but those times have been getting posted by Disney at later and later dates,
so it's not possible to get a good advance timing
much more than 30-45 days in advance
(and even after that, they can add shows and extra park hours.)
