Extension cord?

I've noticed what looks like a European plug near the desk. Could a person with a dual voltage item just use that as an extra plug (obviously with the right adapter)?

I think you are right, and they should just say no power strips with surge protectors.
I think the corded tap I linked to above would be fine, and presumably that could not be called a power strip?

Called a power strip no. Id say no to it being onboard, for the simple reason is that its labeled an extension cord. The main problem I see is that its probably under rated amp wise in capacity. Granted you and most other guests are responsible enough not to use it for a personal hair dryer, but there are those that would try and use it to charge a laptop, flat iron, and a blow dryer all at once. And that's where the problem would start.

If anything I would take this

or this ( I have one similar to this)

I have two of the anker Chargers and love them. Though mine has a cord that plugs into it the wall. It was definitely allowed on the wonder last February. I recommend that over the one above because it fits in smaller spaces and not having to worry the plug might not fit due to tight spaces or other "wall warts"

The best thing about carrying this is at the airport when everyone is jockeying for two outlets and 2 USB ports you can ply this in and let 4 or 5 other people nearby charge with you. I've even gotten some cheap 10 feet usb extension cables so I can have both my partner and I have our phones on each other's side of the bed

This is exactly what we do too. I have a 5 outlet charger that plugs in to the wall and also have 2 two outlet portable chargers. All from Anker and have lasted daily use (for my job) for about 4 years.

What about a small table top fan? I have a cylinder shaped one that would be perfect to pack. Specification label is on the bottom.

I have seen some discussion regarding Ccaps and needing a cord on the vessels. On the Fantasy we found on the left side of the bed, there was a plug in clock. We had to unplug the clock, but we found the outlet there was fine for the unit. No cord needed.
