Are any of the food booths open during extended evening hours? Can we eat and drink in world showcase instead of hitting up rides during Extended evening hours?

The festival food & wine booths close promptly at 9 PM as do most of the restaurants and permanent drink venues.

I really can't justify a $200 a night increase for 2 hours of rides. So If I buy say food or a drink at 0845, will they force us to leave world showcase or can we take our time leaving the park if we are not staying deluxe?

If I'm not mistaken, everything as far as food closes in World Showcase. You wouldn't be able to get in line for rides after 9 but I guess they won't kick you out? Honestly, I don't really know if they check beyond getting in line for a ride.

But I wouldn't try and linger for the entire two hours if you aren't "paying" for that perk.

Good question. They are not sweeping the park to clear. You just won’t be able to do the rides since they scan at entrance

During EPCOT EEH, they typically shut down and rope off World Showcase between Norway and France, so if you are trying to get between Frozen & Remy, you have to take the scenic route. Also, Disney buses to Moderate or Value resorts stop their service maybe 1 hour after normal park close, so if you're just wandering around during EEH but not doing rides, you may miss your ride home!

thanks everyone, hubby and I are late night people but struggling to justify the price bump. Might even be too pooped to stay up till 11.

We've had many late reservations at table service restaurants in World Showcase and haven't finished dining until close to 10 PM. We walked through a very empty WS, but by that time castmembers won't let you sit and linger outside. You will be directed towards the park exits.

If you're talking about picking up CS at 8:45 and sitting at an outside table in one of the pavilions, castmembers will probably start approaching you at some point after Luminous ends unless you're by Remy or Frozen. However, we did have one very zealous castmember come up to us as soon as Luminous started to tell us we had to leave the Germany pavilion where we were seated eating some delicious desserts from Karamel Kuche because the pavilion was now closed.
