EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Perfect! :thumbsup2 Nothing beats YC/BC in the summer! :beach:

Ie become a bit addicted to CL..our first CL stay was last November.. Then in February, we stayed at GF Sugar Loaf.. Now YC... I want to try AKL.. But it never seems to be the right price. We were there for The Everest run at the beginning of the month, but only pool view.

We plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel this trip.. So club seemed perfect

MOVE OVER girls!!! I'm ready for my jungle juice!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance3: :lmao::lmao: This trip is just about to put me in the looney bin!!! :scared: :crazy2: This morning I found out BOTH of my boys made it into summer camp (they've been on the waitlist for 8 months) for WEEK ONE! Which starts JUNE 8, our last day at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :faint::faint::faint::faint::faint: So I had to FRANTICALLY rearrange our return home, change our flights, fill out the camp forms, go get shot records and proof of a physical, and basically turn our lives upside down. But I DID IT!!!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: And now I'm ready for all the grey goose slushies, margaritas, jungle juices, sunken treasures, and whatever else I can use to come down from this INSANITY called my life!!!!

:flower3: My hero (insert super woman smiley)

Let the jungle juice flow :thumbsup2 you deserve it! :worship:

Have a wonderful, restful, juice filled vacation :beach:

We will have a great trip I'm sure! :thumbsup2 5 days!!! :cool1: Right now I'm just trying to handle DOUBLE packing for the trip and camp. :laundy: Once we land and get back home I'll have about 2 hours to wash the boys clothes and put them with their camping gear. That will be a crazy day for sure.

WL CL popped up again for the first part of our trip... I was very close to switching!!

So excited just booked our first stay at YC also our first Club Level!! We are only doing 3 days before we meet my in-laws at CBR. :cool1:

Love the area and expecting to love the hotel. Not sure how we'll go to moderate after 3 days of luxury!

Kind of a weird question - but do you typically valet when you do CL? Wasn't sure if it was easier since it sounds like someone is waiting for you when you leave the guard gate and arrive at the hotel.

It really doesn't make any difference. We've arrived via ME, Taxi, Rental car, etc, and I can't say one particular arrival went any better than any other. In March we parked our rental car and just walked up with our bags and a CM was standing there. :thumbsup2 Whatever you prefer will be just fine. :goodvibes

Getting ready to switch to Cl @ WL for our September trip. Being a club level newbie, do you have to eat the food in the club or can we take it back to our room? What about wine or beer? Any limits to us returning a few times in the same night for drink refills?

Yes, you can take food and drinks back to your room :). You can also access the lounge offerings as often as you like. Have a great trip. WL CL is amazing, you're going to love it.

We have driven in the past and we checked through the security gate and by the time we drove to the Resort (WL) the CL staffer was down there waiting on us. We drove up to the building and unloaded the car on to the carts and DGD and I waited while DH drove down to park and we all went up together. Didn't take long at all.

Next trip is going to be on ME

I have a question. My friend and I originally booked YC together.. I as a AP w memory maker and her as a FL Res package. I upgraded to CL. They are listed in my room but have their own room too. I have 4 bracelets coming to me.. But I am afraid to link them with their MDE because it may confuse the system. Did that make sense?

My DD (16)will be watching her DD (6)while we are out.. So I thought the DVD player in the room would be good for them

Hi everyone -

We haven't stayed CL since 2001, and I'm wondering how tipping works for both Mousekeeping and the Concierge staff. We are staying at the Grand Floridian (Sugar Loaf) in July.

We leave Mousekeeping a tip each day regardless of where we are staying, but I'm wondering how much is generally recommended? And we are completely unsure of whether/how to tip the Concierge staff.....:confused3

I would be grateful to hear your suggestions / experiences! Thank you!

I tip Mousekeeping 2x daily - morning and turn down. I do 5.00 and 3.00 respectively. You don't tip the concierge staff, they aren't allowed to accept cash but people do bring gifts from their hometown - like candy, nuts etc. I personally have never done that but I always write a nice letter when I get home with anyone that was stand out during the trip.

We do similar. I think most people leave $1.00 per person per day but since it's usually just me and one daughter we leave a little more then just $2 for housekeeping and turn down. We leave tip in the morning for mousekeeper on bathroom counter then when we return to room for mid day break we leave turndown tip on bed.
For 2 people We usually leave $4 for mousekeeper and $2 for turndown daily. But if I ask for anything extra I leave more.

Do most of you do online check in? I've had 2 CL stays and didn't use online check in because CL takes you up to lounge to check in. But was thinking of using on line check in this time? Is there any advantage to checking in online for CL :confused3. Any disadvantage?

We leave $5 in the morning and $2 or $3 for turndown in the evening. Sometimes they do turndown pretty early so if the room is cleaned before we leave I put the money on the bed in case we are not back in time. The concierge staff is not allowed to accept tips, but they are allowed to accept small gifts.

I have never used online check in, I don't see how it would save any time when staying CL. You would still have to sign the form and give them a CC if you want to charge to the room. You can attach a CC to your MDE account but I would never do that, and they would probably want to see it anyway.
