EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Only 4 more days until I get my quick Disney fix. We are staying Atrium Club for a quick 3 day weekend. Our big trip isn't until October/November and that was just too far away.

I am really excited to try the Atrium Club. We also have the Feel the Force package at DHS for Sunday. Can't wait.

The view is amazing:goodvibes

Ask for a room with a odd number if you want the bed to have a view of castle:thumbsup2

I would ask for milk, water bottles and wine during the day and they made you feel like they really want you to have a good time:flower3:

I'll be at poly CL this time. We were at CR in January.

That force package looks amazing but dd not a fan. I'll grab a Darth cupcake from Starring Rolls though to at least get a little of the fun;)

We've got Feel the Force for 6/6 :) I hope it's worth the money. The kids will be majorly bummed if they can't see the parade.

I love the Atrium Club :thumbsup2 I wrote a report about it if you haven't seen it yet: https://erika_murphy.silvrback.com/disney-s-contemporary-resort

It's tough to pack this time of year because the kids are using their summer clothes. So I really can't do a lot until Thursday. I've become quite skilled at last minute packing. I did buy some Mickey soaps and Tide pods, I still need to get quite a few things at the store for the kids camping gear. Crazy!

I just wish the rest of my family was as excited for WDW as I am!!!!!!!! :hyper:

We are staying at AKL CL soon and I did the on line check in, because last time we stayed there we told them we were staying CL and were sent to the regular line to check in. Not sure if that's just an AKL thing or not.

That is definitely not normal for AKL club, but they could have been backed up at the CL check-in and thought it would have been quicker for you to use the regular line. Sometimes we've also found the greeters (not at AKL) forget you've said club from between the time they greet you at the door and when they bring you in, and after mentioning again when they do bring you to the regular line, they'll say something like "oh yeah, you did say club didn't you!"

I have always been greeted at the porte-cochère by a CL CM and escorted up. At the GF, we were seated in the lobby while they went and got someone from CL to escort us. I think the guard notifies them because I have never had to say I was in CL

That might be my favorite part of the entire experience! LOL

For us, usually the CM who escorts us upstairs is not a CL CM. They just take us up there and present us to the CMs working the CL check-in desk. Then that person wishes us a pleasant stay and leaves.

Trishadono you took the words right out of my mouth! I had always read the hype about an odd-numbered room, but until we experienced it first-hand I really couldn't picture it. What a way to end each night -- seeing the Castle change colors right from bed! Enjoy the Atrium Club PamelaKay, we sure did!

:offtopic: but I'll figure out a way to connect it to CL :cool1:

I've asked this before but I'm pretty sure I didn't get a response, or a response I liked! So I'm asking here.
Last year was the first time DH and I did one of the special dinners at Epcot during F&W. We want to do the same dinner again this year, but I couldn't wait until the dates were announced to book. I booked our trip during the same time as last year. Has anyone here done the same dinner year after year? Did you notice if they fell on the same weekend?
Now, when they're announced (get ready for CL reference ) should I ask IPO to take care of the booking??

Thanks so much :grouphug:

I think I am physically ill

Was just lurking around the Disney website and noticed there are CL rooms at the GF in the outer bldg. for not much more per day than we are paying for CL at BWI :badpc:

Now mind you, we've only stayed on property once and that was at AKL CL {shout out to some Jungle Juice} Woot Woot :cool1: however, we've heard :listen: lots of nice things about the GF CL

We're enjoying more resort time since we were in Da World earlier this year... do ya think GF CL outer bldg. would be a nicer experience than BWI CL?!?

I dunno :confused3 just couldn't believe the cost was so affordable :faint:

What to do... what to do?!?

Don't be sick! Resort changing can be fun;). To make things more confusing for you... BWI rooms are currently undergoing a rehab. It looks like you'll be there in 3 months and a week? So first week in SEP? The entire resort will be done by then, but more importantly, all the CL rooms and the lounge will have undergone a rehab by then. The lounge and CL rooms are currently closed until 17 JUNE. So you would be getting a "new" room and lounge:thumbsup2

It also looks like the Sugar Loaf rooms will be undergoing a rehab around 1 JUNE, so you would get a "new" room there, too but I don't know if they are doing anything to the lounge. I assume all the SL rooms would be done by the time you'd be there? Just something to consider:scratchin

How about a nice, juicy split-stay? I love those!

HANDS DOWN!!! I would say take Sugar Loaf over BWI!! Especially with a newly renovated room.

we were in 6313 and it was a great room location and view!

We are staying AKL CL in October, I was looking at the views of the Savannah from different rooms on the touring plans site.....my question is if we have a particular area say Kudu Trail & room span we would like who do I contact? Do I contact IPO for room requests? Sorry first time we have stayed CL & not sure if I fax a request like POR allows or contact IPO directly? Thanks in advance for your help.

Online check in has a Kudu Trail box you can check.

:wave2: Hi WDWKOOK

Thanks so much for responding :flower3:

Split stay you say?!?

That would work for realzzz... didn't even think about a split stay :thumbsup2

Since we're staying 2 weeks, can stay a week at each resort :dance3:

I've read split stays are super easy, so we could try out 2 new resorts in one trip = :cloud9:

I've never stayed at either, but I have always dreamed of staying at GF!!! After seeing you are staying 2 weeks, the only reasonable answer is to do a split stay;) That way you get to enjoy 1 week of walking to DHS and EPCOT and 1 wk of hoping on the monorail to MK. I would say it doesn't get much better than that!!!

I'm pondering a split stay at BWI and Sugar Loaf :scratchin

Did you enjoy CL at Sugar Loaf?

That's what I've been pondering... split stay seems to be dancing around in my head :dance3:

Split stay, then we'll float back home on :cloud9:

We LOVED Sugar Loaf... I would say, it was the best stay.. Food was crazy good and CM's awesome. You can't beat the location.

I will say, I am not a HUGE fan of BWI.. It's nice, but just not for us. It's very spread out and getting to the pool can be a haul.. Just my 2 cents

That is definitely something you could let the IPO staff handle. Or you could do it yourself. Chances are you'll probably see the dates release before they will, but I don't think it would sell out faster than you could book it. :) So I'd say either way it would work.

I always email my requests to IPO and also call CRO and have them listed on my actual reservation as well. Then as someone else said, you can also select Kudu Trail for online check-in. So you'll have all your bases covered! :thumbsup2

Definitely do a split stay. There's no way you'll want to stay in 1 resort for two weeks. You'll be needing a change of scenery, a different pool, etc, to keep things exciting. :goodvibes
