EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Can anyone tell me if any or all of the CL lounges serve Greek yogurt at breakfast every morning? How about fresh fruit and, if so, how much variety is there?

My mom is really healthy and pretty much always has the above items for breakfast every morning. Not sure that she would have any interest in CL if she can't find these items there.

We've only stayed CL once when we were upgraded to CL at the BWI (:goodvibes), but wondering if it might make sense for our next trip.

Thank you!

We've stayed CL at BC, Poly, CR, and WL. Out of those 4, only WL had greek yogurt. The others just had regular yogurt. They all had fresh fruit such as cantelope, watermelon, another melon, (and pineapple at least at Poly) at breakfast time. At dinner time, there are strawberries, raspberries, blackberries. Usually in a basket for the whole day I think there are things like apples, oranges, and bananas.

I have stayed at poly,cr and gf CL's . Lots of fruit at each but Dannon yogurt not Greek.

There are apples and bananas all day and mixed fruits at breakfast and with apps at 5p. Melons, pineapples, strawberries, etc , varies by resort but plentiful.

TJA beat me to it:)

Thank you both for the information! Sounds like we're in good shape with the fruit selection at least, but not sure how she'll feel about plain yogurt. Do they offer plain unsweetened Dannon at least? TJA-- was the greek yogurt available at WL every morning?

It's really surprising to me that all of the CL lounges don't offer Greek yogurt yet. I feel like that is far more popular now than regular yogurt (or up here in the northeast at least)! Is it possible to request it in advance or is that a special request that the CL staff would not typically accommodate?

Thanks again for your help! :flower3:

Hi Mariamouse,
Within the last 2 days, I know I saw pics of a CL refrigerator with Greek yogurts in it. I haven't had time to go through all the threads it may have been in yet, but maybe the person that posted the photo will see your question and let you know where they stayed. If I see the pic, I'll post what thread it's in.

Might have asked this before, but can't remember...

What types of wine do they offer? Any sangria or sweeter type wine (like moscato) or is it your typical red/merlot and white/Chardonnay and that's it?

Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, I've never seen Sangria or Moscato. The Poly does have a spiked punch that's sweet and really tasty. :thumbsup2 I've heard the GF RPC has champagne.

Dannon light and fit yogurt with fruit is what I've always seen.

sorry if this has been asked before....What floor are the AKV concierge rooms located? and what views do they offer? trying to make a decision on this as an option for next trip. Any other insight on this I would love it!:flower3:

You guys are the best! :thumbsup2 Thanks for your help.

So sounds like WL is the only one as of now?

It was available at the OFC as recently as August and Christmas. The Danon is also available, though it was out at the moment in this photo and if memory serves me, sometimes the Oikos was out and Danon was available.

That happened a few times at the BWI in July. There were people staying in the Steeplechase Suite and I guess they thought they owned the place. Someone would come out with the silver tray they must have in the room and load it up with food to bring back to the room. We would just look at each other in shock.

We were there in January and the people in that suite did the same thing. I complained to one server and he said, 'they're not allowed to do that'. Then she came in and did it right in front of him and he didn't say a word. Was really annoying because there might be half a tray of something and she'd take it all.

Thanks for your help as always, WDWKOOK!

Unfortunately, it looks like even the Oikos is the sugary fruit-on-the-bottom type. My mom likes plain Chobani or Fage and probably wouldn't go for that either, unfortunately. Will CL accept a special request for plain Greek yogurt in advance or is that something we would just have to purchase elsewhere?

We ate at GF Café almost every morning of our most recent stay at the GF since they were one of the few restaurants that seems to offer plain Greek yogurt! Even Gasparilla Grill didn't have it. :confused3

If it's any consolation, the fruit on the bottom kind can be spooned into a bowl plain, just until you reach the fruit section. Otherwise, why not contact CL CM at the resort and ask how to go about making the arrangements to be sure it's there. I have read that the description of CL CM as being able to purchase items/find specifics gifts etc for guests. Probably not free :) but you would be purchasing it somewhere, anyway. If you are able to arrange with them to have it there, and you are both happy with the rest if CL lounge offerings, I say go for it! The old faithful club looks sooooooo lovely! I can't imagine many nicer places to enjoy a breakfast.

If you didn't have over 1,000 posts, I would totally think this is a Troll post. Can't imagine a $1.00 cup of yogurt could make or break where someone stays.

I think they were deciding if CL was worth it for their trip. If they wouldn't be partaking in much of the food and drink offerings, it wouldn't make much sense to stay CL and fork up that extra cost.
