Man oh man what a DAY this has been!!!!!!!!!

After finally getting our SDMT FPs I started looking through the details on all the new stuff coming. The Harambe Nights sound really cool and I would LOVE to see Viola Davis on June 7th! Love her!!! But we have our Jedi Mickey dinner that night. I don't think there's anyway to do both!

I don't think anyone was trying to be harsh, it just came across as a very specific and unusual problem. I worry about people getting their hopes up for something special that isn't there when they arrive. A lounge fridge might have a certain brand or flavor of yogurt one day but it doesn't mean it's exactly the same type every single day for the rest of the year. Sometimes they run out of things, or have a different flavor, etc. So if someone needs something that is so specific (like plain flavored greek yogurt) I just think they'd be happier ordering grocery delivery or hopping in a cab to the store.

That is hugely important if someone has a specific food request like plain greek yogurt. The fridge will likely always have yogurt but it may not be specific brand or even the same brand again and again. It's going to depend on what vendor has the contract at that given time. It could well change visit to visit.

Plain greek yogurt is a very acquired taste and not going to appeal to the masses so it doesn't surprise me at all that it's not available.

thanks!! we just stayed at BWV last week so looking for options for next april. we wont be going into the parks daily...3 days of parks only, with some other things thrown in and some down time a the resort. The lounge is on what floor in Jambo house?

We did AKV Jambo CL and we were on the same floor as the lounge. But we were in a 1 bedroom. I'm not sure if studios are scattered or all on one floor.

The lounge is on the sixth floor, so are the studios.

How was BWV? We are booked for a 1 bedroom there in June. It was the only Epcot resort available for our dates.

No official dates, rumor has it the lounge will close first, sometime later this summer/early fall. Then the whole floor will close after that's done. Someone said November but it's all just speculation.

It's myself and my four children and I'll be honest with you.. my main concern is about the food offerings and I'm hoping to mostly eat from there and not in the restaurants. I like that GF is on the monorail (never did that before) but that's secondary to them being happy with our meals.. if you know what I mean.

I think you'll be very disappointed at either of those club levels if you're counting on it for all meals. Breakfast will be fine, but there's no lunch except potato chips and gummy bears... and the evening appetizers are very minimal. Plus the only thing they have for kids is PB&J cups. I would recommend going down to a moderate resort so you'll have money to spend on food.

We loved the BW studio! We had a BW view and were right over Big River Brewing. We loved walking to Epcot, and DHS, and over to Beach club to eat at Cape may. We didn't like the bus sharing to MK or AK I still say POP is the best bus service that goes a straight shot! The bakery was far from where we were to get coffee in the am and the other location off the lobby wasnt convenient either so our mugs went unused, but thats ok! We did breakfast in our room daily, lunch in parks...the CS didnt appeal to us at BW either. Dinner were all over and yummy! We were discussing doing less parks next april and more resort relaxing and a day going to the AMC movies, mini golf, and possibly 1 other activity. My younger DS didn't like the pool at BW and said that the slide hurt him going down. The pool was not that big and he doesn't do well in a crowded space in pools. We couldn't find any seats so I sat and held towels and everyone else stood. That is why we are looking into other options for next april in a studio.

meant to add that the points for concierge AKV are less than what we paid this year for BWV BW view...so I am taking any advice! We have stayed at AKL/AKV before and we loved the pool area...so large and relaxing. DH wants to try BC but the looks of SAB was confusing from every angle we walked by?!?! Am I crazy?
