Have found a great rate on a property we like on Bookit.com. Have never used the site before. Anyone have any experiences they care to share?

We have had success with Expedia.ca and Hotwire.com. Is Bookit.com any better or worse?

We would love to book direct with this particular property, but rates are double the Bookit rates....meaning my thrifty DH will never agree.

We recently used Bookit.com for he fist time for are upcoming Disney vacation in November We are staying at Bahama Bay Resort. I have had a couple of friends use Bookit.com and they never had any issues.

I used bookit for our trip to DL this past Jan. I needed a hotel within walking distance to DL and booked through them with NO issues. Great price and will definately be using bookit for my upcoming trip planned to Tampa next month.

I have used bookit.com on more than one occassion. I never had a single issue or complaint. I do plan to continue using them in the future. They now charge a $19.95 cancellation which they didnt a few years back. There is also a website called booking.com that has special pricing like bookit and no cancellation fee. I have used both BookIt.com and Booking.com and will never hesitate to use either one again. Whichever offers the better deal for what I am looking for at the time is who I will make my reservation with because I have been COMPLETELY satisfied with the service from both.

I live in South West Florida. We have AP's and often do last min bookings. If we can't snag a decent pass holder or FL resident rate onsite then bookit and last min travel are the site I use to find room offsite most of the time. I have never had an issue with either site and have stayed in some great places for a fraction of the cost. I love this site.

not a bad experience with them when planning for our trip last summer however, we had to cancel a hotel reservation and believe we got charged a fee. we ended up only booking flights with them and it was an OK deal. Nothing spectacular. Also the deal we got was worse than the deal offered on the hotel website. (The Point Orlando Resort) We didnt realize that the best offers are on the hotel's website itself.
