Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

I thought that I'd have lots of time on my hands yesterday afternoon and this morning but I should have known better. I'm finishing up a project and then I'll come back with replies and an update. PROMISE!

Thanks a bunch for the unpaid endorsement! I need to send you another backsack as a repayment. Seriously...p.m. me your address and I'll do it.

I really do love taking a backsack along. Like you said, it's such an easy way to travel and tote your things around.

Taking forever to get caught up!!!

No problem at all- love my backsack and I never hesitate to tell people how it helps me to avoid bag check line if I plan it right!

That was a very sweet offer, but you do NOT need to send me another one. If I do need a new one in the future I will contact you and order one.

ETA: Just saw the pictures you posted. The orange travel-themed fabric is great.

Now I have to read about your Duck Party and trip update.

Lisa, I am sorry for the loss of your aunt. My condolences to you and your family.

I hope your uncle is doing ok.

What a rough week!

And I am right there with you on the Photobucket changes. I have two new names for Photobucket and neither of them can be posted here on a family board!

On to happier things...

What an incredible party! I know you got a lot of stuff in the package, but your touches were fantastic. It looks like it was a blast!!!

Is there anywhere you can send pictures to showing how successful the party was?

:worship:

Thanks for sharing the fun times with us.

Great pictures of the food court!!! Love all the detail. Really helpful for those staying at the resort in the future.

You really got around on your photo tour. Truly a beautiful resort. I enjoyed taking the stroll with you!

Boy, did you trick me! I have been reading along for a couple of days and was so happy that you have the links so I did not have to scroll through all those pages. Now I am at the end and you are still strolling around CBR! :confused3

There IS going to be an end isn't there? You have dinner and leaving  and a trip home right? And a conclusion I hope; would you go on another cruise now that you know what it is like? I have been on 13 cruises over a 20 year period so it is interesting to hear from a first timers point of view. Mostly we all complain becasue it isn't what it used to be. I keep second guessing myself about wanting to cruise again. You made a good point that if you don't like something you can't just go some where else, for food or entertainment. Going on the Fantasy with the family in April and that may be the deciding factor for me.

You are a very entertaining writer and I have thoroughly enjoyed you sharing your trip with us.

My walk around the resort in the misting rain continued. I took a picture of the quiet pool in Trinidad North:

Walked back to the main promenade:

and took a right towards Old Port Royale but then took yet another pathway to my right so that I could walk deeper into the village of Trinidad North:

Loving the Caribbean Beach pictures! Especially since winter does not seem to want to leave, and I am SO done with cold weather here!

The rain wasn't stopping those in need of an adult drink from the pool bar:

I was going to walk down to the marina and take more photos but the pathway was closed off so I had to settle for this:

I kept walking and spotted the beach in Martinique:

Beautiful flowers which are growing all over the resort:

Martinique is close to Old Port Royale which you can see in this picture:

There were some mousekeeper carts outside the buildings and I didn't want get in their way so I turned back around and went back to the main promenade with the thought that I'd take the next path and delve deeper into Martinique that way. Looking across the lake from the Martinique village:

**Up next: My Singing in the Rain tour continues much to the dismay of others 'cause I can't carry a tune to save my life! :rolleyes1

Loving the Caribbean Beach pictures! Especially since winter does not seem to want to leave, and I am SO done with cold weather here!

I hate to even tell you this.....it's supposed to be 73 here today! I can't even imagine living somewhere that has as much cold weather as you guys do. Didn't it snow one time right before ya'll left for vacation? Seems like I remember there being ice or snow on ya'll's vehicle the day you left.

Thanks for sharing the fun times with us.

Thank you Dee! It's been a rough time lately but we're getting through it.

We had a wonderful time at the Ducked Out Party! I posted the pictures on my Facebook page, the House Party page and here. I'm hoping to get them printed this weekend so that I can make an album for the Duck Commander crew.

Great pictures of the food court!!! Love all the detail. Really helpful for those staying at the resort in the future.

You really got around on your photo tour. Truly a beautiful resort. I enjoyed taking the stroll with you!

I love love love walking through the CBR. It's so pretty! I'm hoping to take a walking tour of POR even though we are only staying there one night in May. Or....you know the other place we are thinking about.

Sorry for the trickery! I try to stroll around the CBR at least once, sometimes twice, on each trip. It's such a pretty resort.

Wow! I bet that I could leave a thing or two about cruising from you. We actually are contemplating another cruise in May, 2014. I've been trying my best to talk John into saying yes but we haven't decided for sure yet. If so, it will definitely be with Disney. I know that for a fact.

I do have more trip report coming up.....rest of our evening at Magic Kingdom, a meal at Crystal Palace, and then, sadly, our drive home. We have another trip planned for May and I'll be writing a pre-trip report on that too.

Disney is not a no-fly zone, but there is a minimum distance above it that you have to be. So it's a no-fly-under-this-altitude zone! :thumbsup2

Your pictures of CBR make me so, so, so happy I'll be staying there very soon!!!!! :goodvibes:cheer2::goodvibes:cool1::goodvibes pirate::goodvibespixiedust:

Ohhhh! I didn't know that. Any decision on whether or not the trip will be sooner rather than later?

beautiful!!!!

Thank You!

Your pictures have me even more excited....is that even possible!?!?!? One week tomorrow! Last minute planning is kind of cool!

I hope that ya'll like the resort as much as we do!

I love love love your walk around the resort. You took so many pictures! I like that you really showed a lot of different things that people might be wondering about.

I had a couple of folks ask me to take pictures of specific things so I was on a mission.

CBR is so beautiful! Thank you for posting all the lovely pictures! So, so, so pretty! I remember running on all those same paths and thinking I was in heaven. I love all the quite pools and the little sitting areas.

The CBR really is a pretty resort and I saw many runners during our stay.

Hey Lisa, I'm sorry for your loss,. I hope the rest of the week continues to be a a good one for your whole family. WTG Hunter on the driving!

I'm finally all caught up! I love your CBR pictures! It truly is a beautiful resort! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

The CBR is beautiful and that's what keeps us going back year after year.

No overlapping....:( At least not that I know of but here lately I never know when Keith will say "Let's go to Disney!" :hyper: But, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I didn't say that about him!! We are going during Spring Break next week. We have a friend going close to your time and they are from Monroe also. I have been helping her plan since it is her family's first time to go.

I'm so excited for ya'll!

Your awesome pictures make me want to go back, We were in Trinidad North in September and LOVED it!

We had friends who stayed in Trinidad North and they loved it too.

LOVE all your pictures!!! One day… one day…:thumbsup2

Keep the CBR in your sights because it really is much prettier "in real life".

What a nice walk around CBR!! :goodvibes

It was a pretty walk despite the fact that it was raining!

Hey Lisa,
Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope this week is much better for you.

It's dreary and rainy here in Charlotte today - I'd rather be at CBR even in the rain any day! Your pictures of CBR are lovely but pictures don't lie, do they? ;)

Thanks for brightening my day :thumbsup2

Thank you!

I wish I were at the CBR instead of sitting behind this desk!

Loved looking at the photos! CBR is pretty. Didn't take the time to walk all around the resort this past fall. :worried: Guess I'll have to try it again!

Another reason to book another trip!

Beautiful pics as always! CBR is very pretty!

I hope that you get to see if for yourself one day.

Your pics are gorgeous! Caribbean Beach is even pretty in the rain!

Amen! It was like I had the resort to myself!

Beautiful pictures!!!!

Thank you!

Lisa, another beautiful tour of the CBR for your readers. You got some great (and new) shots. I'm sorry you were getting drizzled on during your tour and that you couldn't find a mousekeeper to let you peek into a priate room.

I would have loved to peek into the pirate rooms.

I got so very behind in your report. I think I was something like 30 pages back!! Finally got caught up, at the end of your trip.

Absolutely LOVED your Duck Dynasty party. We just love that show.

Maybe the snake you guys saw was "our" snake, all grown up? We saw this one at Port Orleans French Quarter, on our way back from the pool... He was only as big around as my pinkie, probably. Looks like the same type of snake, though.

Love the shots around Caribbean Beach. A walk in the rain doesn't sound too bad, when it's at Disney World!!

Oh Goodness! I remember that snake from your trip report. That sure does look like the one that we saw but all grown up. I'm choosing to say that it's the exact same one so that I'm no thinking that there are others out there. :lmao:

Beautiful CBR pictures Lisa. Makes me wish we were back there right now! I can see why your family stays there every year. We loved our stay-such a relaxing vibe.

Are you excited to try POR if only for one night though?

Meeee too! I am excited about trying POR even if it is for one night.

Been reading, but not posting much lately.
Glad your Duck Dynasty party was so much fun!
Sorry about your Aunt and the family health issues. It's hard.

Such a nice tour of CBR - great pictures! I think sometimes when it's raining lightly, a walk or a nap are the best options.

We had a wondeful time at the party! Thank you for the condolences!

Somehow missed this post. So sorry for your loss. Hope your uncle is doing OK now, and really wishing you have a much better week.

Thank you!

I got behind again. They blocked the disboards on our work computers & even the public wifi they offer and that's where i did most of my disboarding.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your aunt & your uncle's health. I hope he is doing better. Nice pictures from around the resort they make me want to stay there everytime i look at them.

I don't know what I'd do if the Dis was blocked at work! Probably this: :faint:

Thank you for the condolences!

Love the update!! ;)

Soooooooooo, any news on a trip for ya'll? Is it a for sure thing yet?

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lisa. I'm hoping that this week is going much better for you.:goodvibes

Beautiful pictures at CBR!!! It really looks like such a relaxing resort!:thumbsup2

Thank you!

Maybe one day ya'll can stay at the CBR. I think that your boys would love it.

No decision yet, but I think either today or tomorrow he will find out if he has to do the other thing or not, so very soon I should know! I just talked to him yesterday and he has had a bad few weeks, and is looking forward to this as much as I am!

I really, really love all of the pictures of CBR!! I so cannot wait to be there :goodvibes

Oh, and I remember a while back you were impressed with those air blade hand dryers in restrooms, and I just read that the new Tangled themed rest rooms opened today and have them. :lmao:
