Oh, and I remember a while back you were impressed with those air blade hand dryers in restrooms, and I just read that the new Tangled themed rest rooms opened today and have them.

Oh my goodness! You know me well....I'll be in the new restrooms if only to see those neat hand dryers.

I love all of the flowers that Disney has at their resorts. There's some really pretty plants on the other side of OPR that I loved.

I hate to even tell you this.....it's supposed to be 73 here today! I can't even imagine living somewhere that has as much cold weather as you guys do. Didn't it snow one time right before ya'll left for vacation? Seems like I remember there being ice or snow on ya'll's vehicle the day you left.

Yup. On our first trip to Disney - in October 2008 -- we had ice on the windshield as we took off that morning.

Then on our last trip to Disney -- May 2010. There was a dusting of snow on the car the morning before we left. Not anything to stick to the ground, but it was on the vehicles.

We might see a little warmish weather soon. This weekend is supposed to get up to 50 or so. I am just SOOOOO over the cold weather. Done, I tell ya!

I don't know if it's back for good or just today but after a week of being blocked the Disboards are back on my work computer lol now to go take full advantage of it. I got a pre trip to work on and lots of updates to get caught up on.

thanks for the pics Lisa...looking at how far those pirate rooms are from the main building Im kinda not feeling as bad now at not being able to afford to book one for the kids, they are pretty far away from the food court!! Had no idea they were that far!!! eeek! We booked a standard room and requested Jamaica or Aruba. Oh and btw..you have me totally hooked on Duck Dynasty now, I had never heard of the show until I read your post!! Its so funny, love Uncle Si, hes a hoot. Being Scottish I have to have my husband translate alot of stuff they say though!! hehe.. I love how they just want to blow stuff up. Loving your trip report as always

Lisa, unfortunately no trip this year But on the bright side, the reason is well worth it! We are trying to get a house around this time next year!! So we are trying to save every penny for that! As much as we want to go to Disney, a house is a much larger priority obviously!! Living in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 children is pretty cramped! Keeping my fingers crossed & praying that sometime in 2014 we will be home owners!!!!

The pirate rooms aren't too terribly far from OPR. I once timed it and it was about 7 minutes. We've stayed in Jamaica several times and the location is great!

Isn't Duck Dynasty the funniest!?! We love it! One of the reasons we love it so much is the fact that they are so much like us (or we're like them ). And, it's neat to see our hometown on television.

Good morning! Can you believe that it's only Tuesday? The way the work week started out, I would have sworn that it was at least Thursday, if not Friday. I don't know why I am surprised though. People get their income tax refund checks in and it's time to file for divorce, get their ex for back child support or fight for their rights. I'm with 'em....I wouldn't be able to afford an attorney if I didn't work for one. Attorney fees are expensive!

Spring has sprung here in Louisiana and everything is blooming like crazy so we're all suffering from allergies. I had a headache so bad Sunday afternoon that I took a nap to try and make it go away....it didn't.

John had a neuro appointment yesterday and got a good report. Worker's Comp who covers his injury has been trying to pull some sneaky stuff on us and the doctor but I think that we've shown them that we aren't the dummies they thought that we were. Yeah, offer us a piddling sum of money when John's meds are $2,000 a month. Just meds! Who knows what his treatment costs will be in the future. Anyway, that's another headache we've been dealing with and I know that a nap ain't taking care of that headache.

Those of you who have backsack orders, rest assured that they are well underway! I'll be sending out emails or private messages later this week with details. I know that at least three orders will be done this week.

My boss has several appointments today so I'll have time to finish up my walk around the resort. I may even have time to write another or at least start on another installment. I really really want to try and wrap this report up soon. I gotta pre-trip report to start!

Yay for a good report from John's doctor, but boo to Workers Comp for trying to mess with you. I hope you can get that all sorted out soon.

I completely understand the allergies issues!! I have sinuses that hate me and whole I lice the warmer weather of spring that brings the pollen and other irritants that drive me crazy!!

Can't wait for the rest of your walk around CBR. Have I mentioned yet how much more excited it makes me to be there sometime soon?! (Nope, still no firm dates yet, but I'll get into that on my TR this afternoon). Then you will have a PTR soon
