1st cruise. I believe I booked my excursion. Added and confirmed but how do I pay? I assumed I would have an option to check out? Thanks

The cost of the excursion will be added to your onboard account the first day of the cruise. Unlike some other cruise lines, there's no pre-payment for excursions.

Ok -thanks! So first day settle up with excursion and pre pay tips also?

Your excursion(s) and tips will be billed to your onboard account, which is settled at the end of the cruise.

Many people like to deposit extra funds (by calling DCL) in their account before the cruise (for example, some folks call it prepaying gratuities). You could do that if you want to "pay" ahead of time. It just becomes a credit balance on your account, and all is settled with either a final charge to your payment method, or a refund of there are funds left over.

But, for many, it's easy just to let the bills pile up on the account (gratuities, excursions, drinks, bingo, etc...I have a list now of over 50 things you can spend money on) and just have it all charged to a credit card when it is all over. DCL makes it easy to spend lots of money on your cruise :)

Thank you!

Just a small note, from an accounting point of view, you don't actually prepay your tips. You can deposit an amount equal to your suggested tips ahead of time. In your perception you've prepaid tips, and that belief is just fine. From Disney's point if view, you've just preloaded your account with funds, which will be used to pay anything you have in charges, including tips. In the big scheme of things it all works out just fine, but you don't ever specify how preloaded money in your account is spent. All just one (sometimes large) final bill to be paid!
