If you were to work at an office 9-5 job, what type of outfit would you wear? Pick something out online to show us :).

What is your most favorite Japanese foods?

I should have DH answer this! He works for a Japanese company and when the VPs are in they always want to go out for Sushi. :goodvibes He can tell you the best Sushi restaurant in just about any city.

I don't know half of what I'm eating when I've gone, but I do like it. (It's easier for me that way :rotfl2: ) You guys with the wasabi! yikes! Is edamame considered Japanese? I love them!

I do work a 9-5 job, but we are very casual here. I can wear jeans, as long as they are clean & not ripped. Today I'm wearing a pair of black jeans, a nice tee shirt, a black Mickey Mouse watch & my sneakers.

It's been awhile since I've worked outside the home in a 9-5 job. I would probably wear a pantsuit or a nice pair of slacks with a top and a jacket or sweater of some sorts. No dresses for me!

Yes edamame is Japanese :).

Tonight I had made stuffed mushrooms using button mushrooms, and my husband made a Thai vegetable stir with pork which included three different exotic like types of mushrooms like shimeji.
So, todays QOTD is-

What types of mushrooms do you like, and how do you like it prepared?

I guess I do not have a refined and highly trained pallette lol. I know I have eaten several different types of mushrooms, but I honestly do not remember any difference in taste or texture! :confused3 I do like to eat them though lol :thumbsup2

I love all mushrooms. Stuffed. Sauted with onions (for steak). Marinated. Raw. You get the picture. I mostly use she white button ones, since they grow them where I live.

If you were to get something special for a 6 year old girl for Valentines Day, what would you get?
-Just a little something...not something expensive or elaborate.

I am a big fan of the stuffed animal with a small locket arounds it's neck.

My favorite thing that I received from my mom on Valentine's Day was a gigantic heart filled with large, cherry flavored gumballs. I would go with something like that.

I had never seen something like this before, sounds interesting. My daughter does like gum, so this would be something I would consider, but not sure about the cherry flavor. :rolleyes1

They sell Hershey's kisses, Reese's peanut butter cups, etc. in heart shaped boxes. I buy that for the nieces & nephews, they love it--it looks like they're getting a fancy box of chocolates like mom or dad gets. They're not expensive either.
