How often do you take family pictures? Not just professional ones, but also ones with your own camera of you, and your entire family?

The last time we took a family portrait with my sister's family and our parents was about 10 years ago. We haven't had a family portrait of just the four of us made professionally since then either. We usually take pictures with our own camera at special events like Christmas, weddings and such when we're together.

When eatting ice cream, do you prefer your ice cream in a bowl or cone?

I usually get mine in a cup. But, I am always tempted by those waffle cone bowls covered in chocolate and candy. They smell divine, and look delicious.

I prefer my ice cream in a cone. The ones I like I call a "sugar" cone but Braums calls them waffle cones. I don't care for the waffle cones that look like a waffle. Not all waffle cones are created equal.

I like seeing other peoples costumes but I don't really celebrate Halloween so I would have to say....not really excited lol

We LOVE Halloween. Can't wait to see all the costumes and hand out candy and decorate the yard with gravestones.

I love Halloween and seeing all the yards decorated up. I miss looking for costumes with the kids and walking them around my mom's neighborhood. But I can't say that I'm excited. We don't get trick or treaters.

I am excited, and so are my kids. They enjoy going trick or treating, then next month, I get to put up my Christmas tree! No...not right after Halloween if anyone is wondering, but before Thanksgiving since everyone comes here for our Thanksgiving meal.

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween.....I don't mind it, but I don't decorate for it. DH and I will be taking our boys out trick-or-treating this year, and I think that will be fun.

In your family and extended family, what month has the most birthdays?

November. There is mine and one of my brothers. My stepsister and her husbands. A couple good family friends that are like sisters to me. My ex husbands birthday is is November too!

March, July and December all tie for the most birthdays on my calendar.

I had never even heard of this custom until I saw a thread about it on the CB. What part(s) of the country is this common? How do you know how much your plate costs? Is it just implied that you pay, or is there a formal request?

Sorry for all of the questions.....I'm just curious as I've never come across this custom before.
