I like all the old ones, Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Porky Pig, Tom and Jerry, Little Lulu, all the ones where the faces are more rounded and colors are more soft. I don't care for most of the new ones out there.

I like the Looney Tunes, in fact have it all on DVD, Scooby Doo, Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Wacky Races, and that's about it. I also don't care for the new cartoons these days.

If you were to make a new dipping sauce for fast food restaurants chicken nuggets, what type of sauce or sauces would you have?

Our family has a simple recipe for BBQ sauce that's excellent. We use it for all sorts of meats, and makes a great dipping sauce.:stir::stir::stir:

What were your high school school colors?
Monessen Greyhounds...Black and White!

Do you watch cartoons? What are your favorites now or as a child? What cartoons do your kids like or enjoyed when they were a child?
LOVED them. Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, Casper, Flintstones, Jetsons, Hannah-Barbera, MICKEY! all those 70's cartoons that are so funny to see now.

DS11 still watches Phinneas and Ferb in the mornings before school and I love them! Shhh...they're on now and I"m the only one home. :thumbsup2
Spongebob. It's funny to see the older boys getting the side jokes now.

A spicky duck sauce would be good. Marinara. Chicken and waffles are really good, so maybe maple syrup, too!

I don't eat fast food nuggets but like to have dip my chicken tenders into white cream gravy.

Hello, I'll be your guest questioner today! :wizard: I was even googling ideas! I don't want to let Patsy down, since she does such a great job every day.

I finally came up with one, and searched thru this thread to make sure it wasn't already used. :rotfl:

so...

I started a book today that I've read at least 5 times already. Do you have any favorite movies/books you watch/read over and over? And over?

I just realized it's not Wed for lots of you. Oy. I was trying to get it posted so I wouldn't forget it tomorrow morning! thank God this is the last week of school.

Not a book person here, but as for movies....Grease is one that I watch over, and over.

Thank you Lynne for being the guest poster. If anyone else would like to be a guest poster, just let me know. :cloud9:

As an adult, I don't reread books but I wouldn't mind reading the Harry Potter series or Lord of the Rings again. Also the Pern series and Shanara series. I really like fantasy.

As for movies, Jurassic Park, Mrs. Doubtfire, Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter, there are too many to count.

I'll be one!

I tend to read romantic comedies. I don't mind doing the QOTD, for a day or two, but can't do it till the end of the month, due the year end activities at the kids school is going to keep me busy over the next couple of weeks. My DH and I love the animated movies, and have watched, Cars, Tangled, Princess and the frog, and many others all the time.

If you were to order a shave ice/ice shave/sno cone...... what flavor(s) would you choose?

Well most places only have the 3 flavors that make the rainbow color, so i get that. If they have different flavors, i like root beer.

We have a place here called Bahama Bucks Shaved Ice and I get blue raspberry. And if I really want to splurge I ask them to add cream. Now don't ask me what the cream is, I couldn't tell you. I just know that it's good.:rotfl:

Susan I was watching kid in a candy store (food network) and he was visiting a place in New Orleans that sold snowballs (ice was shaved finer then a snow cone). They make their own sweet condensed milk to put on top.

I love Cherry snow cones. But I'm in :cloud9:over the Sonic Cherry Slushies, too bad we don't have a Sonic up here...SIGH!:upsidedow

There is a SONIC out here near DISNEYLAND!! :cloud9: Aren't you coming this way soon?? :confused3

For me, in terms of snow cones...I like the Japanese style with the red beans or Ice Cream on the bottom...and all flavors are yummy for the most part... popcorn::

It may be a lot like what we have here. They sell snowballs too!
