Lunch - turkey sandwich, its left over from the turkey breast that i roasted yesterday.

Dinner - Spaghetti.

What is on your lunch, and dinner menu?
Yesterday I had a sandwich, chips (way too many) and a glass of milk for lunch. For dinner we had a taco salad.

Today I'll probably have a sandwich, something healthier than chips or maybe a few less chips :rotfl: and a glass of milk. For dinner I think that I am making venison stroganoff and green beans.

Patsy's going to take a break for the rest of this month and I'm going to be the guest QOTD person.

So, my question for today is:

Have you ever had a bird make a nest on your house? If so, what kind of bird was it and where on your house did they make their nest?

We have barn swallows that come back every year and make a mud nest on our patio. We usually have two groups of babies but one year we had three. They make a mess on that area of the patio but they are so fun to watch. There's usually three to four babies born but every now and then there is five.

This year we have two nests.

Yes one year we had a bird try and build a nest in the crook of our motion light. John tore it down twice (never gave it a chance to finish it) before it moved on.

Also had a squirrel get inside the garage once and build a nest in the rafters.

Thank you Susan for being the guest poster. Things will be hectic for me till the ending of the month, so Susan will be stepping in.

We have never had any type of bird nest on our house, but have had them on trees on our property.

Does your family, either side, have family reunions? If so, where do you go and how often do you have them?

I'm late, but I'm making sauce and meatballs this afternoon so we can have pasta for dinner. (From my xchange cookbook! LOVE it!!)

We have some that make a nest every year behind the lights on our porch-they're sconces against the house and they're persistant little things! If I see it eary, I'll tear it out, but they keep building. If they get an egg in it, they win and I leave it alone til they're out.

No...and I wish they would! A few cousins on both sides and I have talked about it but it seems there's always something going on. The fact that everyone is spread out in multiple states doesn't help.

On my dad's side, we had a couple. The first one I did not attend since I was on vacation. The second one, was nice since there were alot of us, and many family members I have never met since we do not live close to each other. This coming weekend, our family-my dads siblings, their kids, grandkids.... are coming together for one. :goodvibes

We used to have one each year when i was younger, but they stopped before i even got married.

I've been on three. One at Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado. That was a lot of fun! It was for my side of the family. Then another for the same side last August in Branson, Missouri.

This last weekend we went to a wedding/reunion at DeGray Lake Resort in Arkansas. It was the first reunion for Joe's side of the family. We are going to take turns planning them so guess who's turn it is next? :rolleyes1 I'm already stressed about it!

What type of purse do you carry? A handbag, crossbody, shoulderbag? What color is it?

I currently carry a green crossbody.

A multicolor Mickey hobo bag that i got on my last trip.

Have you ever felt down in the pocket of an old purse, suitcase, etc. and found something you'd forgotten about?

I have a large quilted bag that we used this last weekend for our dirty clothes when we went to our niece's wedding. I was getting ready to send it through the wash when I heard something crackling. It was a Goofy pin and a Disney train pin.

Its been awhile since i have left anything in my purse, but mostly it was just a small piece of paper.

In honor of Father's Day, are you going to do anything special for your father? Husband? Uncle? Brother?

No - daddy died in 2006 and John and i have no children, so no fathers day here.
