My most fav dessert of all times is my grandmother's hunky cookies. I can't really explain them except to say they are Hungarian rolled cookies (rolled almost like a burrito) and filled with dates and other fruits and nuts and topped with powdered sugar. Super yum-o! :goodvibes

Hmmm, that's a hard one. It would either have to be chocolate cake without icing or strawberry shortcake.

How many times a week do you cook dinner?

What did your family have for dinner all of last week?

I cook everyday, but once in awhile like last Sat. i didn't cook (we got pizza).

I would say I cook 6 days a week normally with 1 night out.

Last week we had…wow this is hard to remember:

Sunday: Meatloaf with a sugar glaze
Monday: BBQ on the grill
Tuesday: Tilapia with Rice
Wednesday: Chili (was in the crockpot all day hmm)
Thursday: Crab Cakes and Stuffed Clams (From farmers market soooo good)
Friday: Bacon Cheese Burgers on the grill with friends
Saturday: Night out – Chinese Food

I cook four to five times a week. Joe usually does the cooking on the weekends. Weekend cooking is usually grilling or smoking.

Hmmmm, what did we have last week?

Sunday - met family at Mexican restaurant
Monday - brats and pork n beans
Tuesday - venison tips and noodles
Wednesday - BBQ boneless pork ribs in crockpot and roasted red potatos
Thursday - chicken tacos
Friday - oven baked tilapia and fresh green beans
Saturday - out to eat BBQ
Sunday - fajitas
Monday - pork chops w/sauerkraut
and tonight we are having meatballs and rice. Carol is coming home this afternoon and staying for dinner. That is one of her favorite homemade things to eat.

BBQ pork
Pasta with homemade sauce
Teriyaki chicken
French Toast. (The kids love breakfast for dinner)
Ordered Pizza one night

Tonight is Jambalaya, tomorrow is Chicken and Rice Burritos.

If you were able to change on thing about yourself, not physically but maybe a way you do things, a way you act.... what would you change?

What is your most favorite type of candy bar?

Plain Hershey bar.

If you were able to change on thing about yourself, not physically but maybe a way you do things, a way you act.... what would you change?

There are times that a quick sarcastic comeback is needed, and i rarely have one. So that is something i would change about myself.

I love Kit Kats!

I would most likely change my approach to free time. Since I have graduated, I have had a lot of free time on my hands after work. if I utilized that free time for something other then tv at home, I would make more of a difference. I hope to work with charities in the future in my free time.

Fav candy bar..... hmmmm.... maybe a snickers.

I need to be the opposite of this lol! :rotfl: Too many witty comebacks make for a not so nice addition sometimes. That's what I would change about me.....

I am ready for Easter, and with putting together an Easter snack tomorrow, I was thinking about dying eggs.

Do you have any tips on a special way to dye Easter eggs?

No sorry, only two ways i have ever dyed.

Food coloring and the dye that they sell in the stores.

Me and Davy dyed eggs the other day- it was an adventure with a toddler for sure. :lmao: We just used a kit. But he loved the crayon with it! We also bought a glitter kit this year, but we will use that one later- this was just a test run to see how he did. :goodvibes

My mom would purchase those edible stickers from a bakery and we would stick them on. As for dye, we just used store bought.

Edible stickers, never tried or seen them, but it sounds neat.

I like put my hard boiled eggs into a strainer, add on vinegar, then the food coloring. Start with the lighter color, rinse off with water, then add on the darker color.

I had seen one where they use food coloring, and oil, and I want to try that.
